Same here. I love playing all the classic pokemon games, and honestly, this is the best, most cool way to do it. It's always been a childhood dream of every pokemon fan to have all the regions in one game. The online aspect for me is more of a visual bonus. Seeing everyone run around makes the regions feels so much more alive and immersive for me. As a casual pokemon fan, I have no interest in virtually any of the actual MMO elements, but when I complete everything I have that aspect to dive into well down the road as an added bonus.
The pay to win aspect of the game is in my opinion very well handled in the sense that yes you can pay to win by selling rp to get loads of money to buy vanities, shiny charms, donator status etc but its not like pay to win like in other games, for example in other games you can pay to win for a overpowered weapon which gives you an advantage and effects other players experience. but in pokemmo it doesn't it is closed off by affecting the player that is paying to win but not affecting the other players experience if anything it can actually help free to play grinders because it gives us access to the gift shop and the items within it, without the pay to win players the gift shop would be completely walled off and inaccessible. And ofc everything in the game is possible to get free to play and you don’t have to pay a dime if you don’t want to and the pay to win players get to pay to win and reap the rewards without ruining other players' experience.
Yee I made hundreds of thousands by watching GTL. I once bought a Fly Ocarina for 93,000 and then sold it for 450,000, than 2 days later got a surf ocarina for 103,000 and sold it for 450,000. The whole time also buying and selling items that are super cheap and selling them for under average.
I totally agree. The ability to sell/buy gift shop items on the gtl With pokeyen makes it so that f2p players have the option to get these items just by playing the game. There are various money making methods players can utilize to grind for these desired items if they so choose. Additionally, it can teach people about economics a little LOL.
