  • VETAHEAD is an immersive online experience, which gives you the opportunity to learn from the world’s best specialists in zoological medicine. Zoomed (a.k.a. exotics) is the branch of medicine that treats nontraditional pets, such as rabbits, rodents, birds, reptiles, and much more!
At VETAHEAD we understand reliable and up-to-date information is not always easy to find. Just like you, we have struggled to find quality continuing education on specific zoomed topics tailored to general practice. We also understand that taking time away from your practice and family is challenging and not always possible, not to mention multiple course fees.
Today's video is just a taste of our latest course on rabbit medicine and surgery, A Clinician's Guide to Incorporating Rabbits in your Practice, that covers aspects of how to set up your practice, rabbit anatomy, husbandry, handling, clinical techniques, common diseases, diagnostic imaging, therapeutics, anesthesia, medicine, and surgery, among other important topics.
This course is for veterinarians and veterinary paraprofessionals (technician, assistant, nurse), and also for students who want to learn about rabbit medicine and surgery, for beginners or advanced alumni alike. Go to vetahead.vet/c... .
If you are studying for your mandatory CE on antibiotics stewardship, check out our awesome immersive experience: the RITES of Passage With Antimicrobial Stewardship, which is available to all of you for FREE! Oh yeah! You read it right! Go to vetahead.vet/r... and get ready to ace your test! It includes case discussion with common non-traditional pets!

Can you do a video on Coccidiosis please. I am in New Zealand, our local vets have no idea about rabbits.

My biggest challenge was a 3 week week old kitten, it was a catheter placement so a little different.
