    I had to subscribe. This is how an interview should be conducted. Ask questions relevant to the issue, and allow the guest answer the question, whether you agree with the answers or not, you let the audience form their own opinion. I'm tired of channels where only people they entirely agree with can be given a voice on their platform. Keep it up, Michelle.

    BRICS seeks to create a new currency, considering gold's historical role as a store of value and medium of exchange. However, the functionality and acceptance of a gold-backed currency in the current global financial system are uncertain. Creating a new currency requires careful consideration of economic, political, and logistical factors.

    • @MarkGrimm8
      @MarkGrimm8 Рік тому +13

      The discussions and proposals surrounding BRICS nations' potential use of gold are intriguing. People choose to buy gold for various reasons, such as its historical role as a store of value and medium of exchange, its potential as a hedge against inflation or currency devaluation, and its relative scarcity compared to other commodities. Gold also offers diversification benefits to investment portfolios due to its low correlation with stocks and bonds. However, investing in gold carries risks and may not be suitable for everyone. Investors should carefully evaluate their objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation before deciding.

    China, India, South Africa, Brazil and Russia all share one thing. For centuries, the British Empire controlled all the sea routes, especially its choke points. After the US civil war the US joined Britain in its global adventures to dominate the oceans and seas. Britannia rules the waves was its mantra. The special relationship that the US likes to mention when referring to the UK is in recognition for its inheritance of the title which reflects that today the US rules the waves. The British nations and all those mentioned in wanting to join the alliance have known this for centuries now which is why the Chinese belt and road initiative is getting support. It is the only way they will be able to trade freely with one another without having to suffer US containment strategies and sanctions. Its a shame really. The US had the opportunity to emerge as true global leader but instead it chose the gluttonous path of imperialism as laid out by its corrupted surrogate mother.

      As I understand it, it was after the revolutionary war America became independent. In my opinion after the civil war it went back to the status quo. The bankers centralised the US government under themselves and still rule it today. Who do you think rules America? The wrong side lost the civil war imo. It wasn't about slavery but rather state rights and freedom. They lie about the civil war. That's why there are so few movies. Fortunately we still have books for those still willing to read!

      That is not true the USA is actually negatively impacted by Dollars being used as reserve currency as countries abuse the Dollar to support their own currency, they get Dollars for selling resources and then sell the Dollar and buy their own currency back which reduced the strength of the Dollar. This is actually bad for the USA so having countries not use the Dollar in this way is actually positive for the USA.

    Michelle regarding your question that the Saudi Arabia still pricing oil in dollars. A currency performs three functions medium of exchange store of value and unit of accounting. The first thing that goes away is medium of exchange when others start using something else as medium of exchange. The second thing that will go away in a store of value because people will not store their savings in that currency. The last thing that will go away will be unit of accounting because people have to get used to measuring things in a different unit of accounting. As an example the world used to use imperial units of measures such as pounds and feet. It took some time for the world to move to the metric system. Same thing will happen with the US dollar. Just because it will only be used as unit of accounting doesn't mean that it will have the same value as it has now.

    Its easy to cause a avalanche in Dollar. A small country can do it. Just call on the international community to levy a 2% charge on foreign buyers paying with US Dollar. They can dedicate the money to aid people suffering from American instigated war. If Bric countries, China and Saudi join in the call. Dollar is done. The hegemon is done.

    On a side note, it feels like the US leaders are eventually going to try and sell the US to the highest bidder. Also, some are saying that Hawaii's fires were intentional to create a land grab for the super wealthy. I just don't know...Hawaii would be an ideal, out of reach safe haven for criminals/career politicians responsible for America's downfall.
