Today we join Kevin in unboxing and assembly of the Camp Chef DLX pellet grill. Let me know what you would like to see us cook on it! Make sure to SUBSCRIBE!!
I'm looking into getting one but also want to bring it with when camping but don't have a truck to put it in and it doesn't look like the box is re-usable
Christmas Day, Merry Christmas everyone. I'm unboxing mine right now. However, I'd give my left nut if these grill makers would just start making the internal grates out of stainless steel, rather than chrome or enamel coated. I mean, smoke is very acidic, so you think that would be a given. Within the first year of owning my last smoker, most of the chrome on the grates had been eaten away.
Everyone shows the hopper with the safety grid installed. I have had several Pit Boss grills and smokers and have always removed the grid. Lot easier when it comes time to clean the hopper to do a pellet switch. How difficult would it be to remove that grid? I have a bad attitude. If a person is dumb enough to stick their fingers down into the moving auger they deserve to get their fingers pinched. Also, it is much easier to level the pellets in the hopper as they do funnel down to the auger and you need to keep them level to avoid a shutdown.
Good video, but you glossed over some key points. Im disabled and cant afford the almost 300 dollar assembly charge so I gotta go solo. I was trying to put mine together while watching your video but you lost me.
Short, sweet and informative video! I get my Camp Chef today and feel like I almost don't need the assembly instructions now. Nicely done!
OUTSTANDING video. thank you!
Just finished putting mine together, gave up on the instructions and followed your video! Thanks :)
Thanks. You explained it completely. You made it look easy. I will be assembling one of these for a customer tomorrow. This video came in quite handy.
Thanks man, I couldnt figure out the heat deflector handle till i watched what you did!

One million thanks!!
Still waiting for a first burn video! Haha great assembly video though! Thank you

Atta boy ♻️
You can leave that oil on though right? I just got mine today.
If you leave the oil on, then I would definitely do a burn off before cooking anything on it.

would have been a good video but couldn't watch it because of that stupid music.
