I just began my second month on compound Semaglutide. I've lost 12 lbs so far. The nice thing for.me.is I'm not dieting. I did take one week off the shot as I wanted to be 100% sure that my intestines were working. I'm a little scared of intestinal paralysis. I'm that week things were functioning just fine. about mid way through that week I noticed that I began to start thinking about what food I might want to eat. By the time I finally took my shot, it was nearly immediate that I noticed a difference in my thoughts..I was in the grocery store that evening, walked down the ice cream aisle, and realized how habitual it was of me. I looked at the ice cream and cookies on the other side, shrugged my shoulders and thought to myself. Nah, I really have no desire to have any of this. I believe my grocery bills are going down. Mainly, because I'm not buying as much. On another note, I'm also spending less on other goods outside of food. It's pretty amazing. Has anyone else noticed this?
ah yes the food noise being gone is one of my favorite parts of being on these medicines. And less shopping is something I have heard from other people too. It can lessen any addictive behavior. I dropped to one cup of coffee a day and I was drinking 2 or 3.
First month on Ozempic I lost 13 pounds. Second month he upped it and I lost 2lbs. Last month I only lost 1 pound and I was on 1.5mg and 1.75mg. Just switched to tirzepatide today. I’m on 5mg and 6mg. Really hope this works!! Also I go to a wellness clinic. No insurance. I paid $374 for a month of tirzepatide
@ thanks I hope so! I don’t have that full/nauseas feeling like I did on Ozempic, but I’m not hungry either. But I noticed the day after taking it when I woke up my neck, shoulders and back hurt. I looked it up and seen that can be a side effect. Just really hope this works. I was never overweight until switching to midnight shift then got on steroids for issues with my ears. Packed on 40lbs in 1 year 🙁

Thanks for the information. I’m on compound Tirzepatide and I’m on week 4 of 2.5. Everything is going good so far not many side effects just a little nausea. I’m down 12 pounds so far and feeling great about it. I was shocked today because I am 2 belt loops back on my belt and that’s amazing. You look great I don’t know if it was the camera but you had a glow to your skin and I know you’re happy I can see it in your smile. Thanks again.
I just started Tirzepatide today. It’s only $75 once a week. I paid for 2 injections… One was given in the clinic and the other one will be done at home on next Friday.
Thank you so much for your analysis, it was very helpful! I was leaning towards tirzepatide too. Questions: what body part did you inject the serum into? I've heard that different injection sites may cause different side effects. How much weight did you lose in 4 months? Thanks again & congratulations!🎉
@@MadisonLoethen YAY thank you for your response. I just signed up with your code 😊 How long would it take approximately for the consult to be reviewed?
@@MadisonLoethen You mentioned in the video finding tirzepatide for around $150 per month. joinfridays price is $333 per month if you pay 3 months up front. Where did you find it cheaper?
I take my 4th shot of sema tomorrow night. Seeing my doc tomorrow for a follow up and going to ask her to switch me to tirz since I've had zero effect with the sema...I've gained 2 lbs on it...ugh. At my initial appt. I had asked her, after much research, to put me on zepbound to which she replied..."I rarely prescribe that!" I never got to ask her why so will be asking her tomorrow. If she doesn't prescribe the zepbound I'll also likely go the route of the compound through telehealth. Does Fridays add anything to the compounded tirz like b12 or anything?
So weird she wouldn’t prescribe zepbound! The vials I’ve gotten from JoinFridays are not mixed with anything but they work with 5 or so different pharmacies on a contract bases jn order to keep the prices so low so I’m not sure if all of the pharmacies do or don’t
I had some joint pain on my 1st dose. On the 3rd day it was fairly intense. Have you heard anything about that? I'm on compound Tirzepatide. When did you get the best help with food noise? I'm just starting, but I have done quite a bit of research as well. Just hearing others journeys has helped a lot. Also, did you notice any difference when you injected into your abdomen area as opposed to other areas?
I haven't heard about joint pain as a side effect before! The food noise is almost non existent for me days 2-4 after my shot. It's wonderful. I've noticed less side effects when I inject into my legs vs my stomach. I haven't tried anywhere else.
@@latashaakins-brown1820 I did the first week but it can be normal for it to take a bit too. Hang in there and talk to your provider about titrating up if a month goes by and you still aren't seeing loss.

It is, especially those who are not dieting and exercising. They will bounce back and prolong staying in this medication. It's fairly new so sides still not 100 percent out there in studies for long term use
Yes tirzepatide is way better. I lost 24 pounds the first 3 months.. one thing I did notice I broke out a lot 😢
24lbs is amazing! You broke out more after starting the meds or that got better? My skin actually cleared up, probably because this treated my PCOS.
