Head and Shoulders completely ended my chronic acne under the skin. I don't believe in dermatologists. They ruined my skin. I was the only one who could figure out my acne on my own.

Hey, did you use only head and shoulders or did you use something else with it? I'm 16 and struggling with acne right now, if you could give me a few tips that'd be appreciated, thank you!

I've found that head & shoulders work wonders on body acne. I do have dandruff prone scalp so use head & shoulders almost everyday. About an year ago, ran out of body wash and being super lazy I used head & shoulders on my body including my acne prone back and my goodness it really work I definitely noticed extremely low frequency of body acne compared to my normal Nivea body wash I used. Now I wash my body with head & shoulders and use nothing else and it definitely helped my body acne to large extent, it's an anecdotal evidence so it's hard to say that it works for bacne, but it's active ingredient needs to be put through some clinical trials.

PS- I don't have fungal acne it's real acne on my back, went to derm few years ago he gave me ointments spray that need to be applied after bathing but I'm too lazy couldn't follow that for long and never went to derm again 🤣

My husband uses it to treat acne on his scalp, I've started to use it for that as well. Interested to hear about using it on face and body.

Kenna, thank you so much for your videos. I've learned a lot since I found your channel. I wanted to ask if it would be possible to show the names of ingredients and such on screen while you mention them? English isn't my first language, so whenever there's a longer and possibly unknown word that gets said very fast it can be hard to catch for me. E.g. salicylic acid - I know that one so I understand it, but it's harder with things I don't know yet. Automated subtitles are not a great help unfortunately

I agree about first need to diagnose the issue properly then move on with treatment however I have gone through dermatologies and none of them have diagnosed me correctly and everything that was prescribed made my issue worse, until I found my self that I might struggle with FA and stared using sulfur and all acne GONE in a week while I was struggling with it for years. Dermatologists prescribed me BP, SA and differin, other facial procedures which did absolutely nothing but sulfur helped me to heal in a week. After sometimes I have tried to use head & shoulders also reduced my redness but would say its really drying but woks definitely

If H&S is OK for the scalp, I see no difference to the face, to be honest. Yes, a face "can" be more sensitive, or more dry. Me for instance. I am oily up top, but extremely dry in the face. I guess it depends, and maybe it's even worth a try for tiny blemishes. People need to decide for themselves. And yes a dermatologist: totally recommend. Acne can leave scars, it's nothing to "mess with", people!

Why aren’t there more skincare options with zinc so we don’t have to use shampoo…

@@KennaWhitnell Okay, that's what I was thinking. Thank you for responding so quickly! The whole reason I wanted to use it is because I normally have clear skin, but I got a huge pimple on my chin, and a few smaller ones in just one day. I'm thinking it's hormonal, but I'm not sure. Any tips on how to make the big one go away? It's red and hurts a bit. Thank you!
