How to remove Red Skin Dots at home Quick & Easy Cherry Angioma treatment

  • An angioma is a cluster of blood vessels at the surface of the skin and removal is super easy and can be done at home. They are very common and harmless. However, it is advised that you seek the advice of your healthcare professional before trying anything at home. If you have several red dots show up all at the same time it may be a different problem and you should see a doctor. The largest one that I have had was about 1/8" and it was removed with no problem. I actually used the end of a drill bit for that one. I think if I had one much bigger than that I may have a doctor do it.

      I had them for over 23 years. I think when I was about 9. It's large on my forehead.
      A girl asked me why I don't just pull it out. So 11 years ago, I did that. I used tweezers and pulled it. Was so hard. And it just bled and bled. It scabbed and when I took a shower, it just bled. It did this for about 6 months. lol. It didn't remove it, it's still large.
      I'm going to try something similar to this.

    OMG, I just did this a few days ago on the ones on my arms and chest. They are GONE! I can't believe I didn't think to do this. This is exactly what the doctor did when I took my son in many years ago. He had one on his lower neck that kept bleeding from being rubbed by his shirts. Except, the doctor gave him a shot in the area to numb it, then he just burned it off. That shot was painful. I didn't think this was really painful at all. It was just a quick burning sensation, not bad at all. I've had some of these for YEARS! I had two that were the width of a pencil eraser. I got a nail with a head that was the size of the cherry. I scrubbed the nail head and my skin where the cherries were with alcohol, put it in a vice grip and did the same thing and it is GONE.After I burned them off I put a little antibiotic cream on them for a couple of days and that was it I HATED those big ones. All of them are healing beautifully. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this!

    WOW! I am 54 and have been living with an angioma about 3 times larger than that pin head, for as long as I can remember. I tried this technique, I was a little hesitant for fear of pain but it didn't hurt at all. After 2 weeks of healing it is now just a thing of the past.
    THANK YOU!!!!
    P.s. It was located on my forehead which is probably why it was so painless.

      Hi. Did you tap it only once? Since it's big I was wondering. I have a medium size one and the needle i have is small.

    • @sobmaz
      @sobmaz 2 роки тому +3

      @@galaxymae9328 What I used was a small nail with the head about the size of the spot. I then put the nail through a pencil eraser head so I could hold the hot nail using the pencil. In my case it was a very small nail head.. I heated the nail head red hot. I then placed it on the spot for about 1.5 seconds or until you hears a slight sizzle or pop. The sizzle pop is from the fluid in the angioma. Only tap once because you will now have singed skin. If you need a second treatment you can try again after it heals. Hope that helps.

      Hey! How much time does it take for the scar to go away?

    • @sobmaz
      @sobmaz 2 роки тому +1

      @@beyourbesttoday6924 Well, in my instance it didn’t really leave a scar. The scab/sore was more or less completely gone in 2 weeks and a circle whiter than my surrounding skin remain for perhaps a month or so. I would say after one week out, it looks better than it did with the angioma.

    Tried and tested. It's easy and IT WORKS!! I was a little anxious at first so started with a very small one on my abdomen, no pain at all, just a little sensation followed by a pop sound! Pretty exciting stuff!! Did a larger one on my leg which was raised, did it over 3 sessions taking the advice just to tap the area. For larger amgioma, do it in stages. Thanks for this video, much appreciated.

    I am so happy I found this video! I have very fair skin and had several on my torso and neck that have bothered me for years. One in particular on my neck made me feel self conscious since I noticed people looking at it from time to time. I was a little nervous to try it so I did one that was out of sight to see if it worked. There was a tiny scab that lasted only three or four days and after that it was totally gone. So, that gave me confidence to try a few more and I have had the exact same results each time! Now I don't have any left to treat. I love how simple and easy this was, and I am so pleased to no longer see those annoying red dots! I had about 20 in various sizes and the results were the same each time. Two of them were a little larger than the rest and I had to go back to them a couple of times but now they are also gone!

    I went to a dermatologist to have one removed that annoyed me. All they did was burn it off with a little tool. It cost $150 but worked. I figured why not do it at home myself and this technique works perfectly. If you have a wine cork, sticking a needle (upside down) or a nail into it works well as an alternative to a pencil.

    This definitely worked for me. Some tips: choose the smallest pinhead and use the edge to tap the angomia. If you use the entire head you might also touch regular skin. A lighter doesn’t work, you need a torch to heat the pinhead up. For every angomia heat the head back up till it is orange

    This really works! I tried this on one big I had on my forehead and on a mini skin tag on my neck.. I needed to do it 3 times for the red dot, after each time had healed.. and now it is completely gone.. once I saw it worked, I did the same for the other mini red dots and skin tags I had on my neck, chest and a couple on my leg 😃. There were a few on my neck and chest and when they were healing, they turned dark and looked like I had lot of moles :/ . I protected my skin from the sun and not to touch them during the healing process.

    i just did this with candle and it didn't work very well. It would leave a charcolly pinhead and the soot sticks to your skin.
    My advise is use a blowtorch to heat up your pinhead because it doesnt produce soot, and works better
    Update: a scab formed on my skin last week and it fell off yesterday, and the cherry angioma is gone. Now I need to wait for my exposed pink skin spot to heal
    Update 2: It's been a month, the layers of skin that I've burned away left a sunken spot on that area, it's slowly growing back now, and the scar has lighten a little

      I realise this was a while ago, but in case you’re still wondering it does works by tying a thin piece of string around the base of the tag tightly, they eventually turn dark and drop off (not as quick as this, the bigger they are the longer it would take) but it’s easy to do and it does work if done correctly :)

    • @karenkreim6956

    Been doing at home for at least 20 years but I am using a paper pin for the small ones. Same technique, I disinfect the skin area, I heat the pinhead until it is orange or red and then tap the skin, you hear a pop sound if the pinhead is hot enough. I am happy to see that I was not the only crazy one figuring this out. It works like magic, saves tons of money at the dermatologist. Initially I had them treated by a dermato and saw how they do it, then did it myself.

    I found that gas flame burns cleaner, but candles and lighters leave a bit of soot on the pin. I didn't want to use them on my skin because of it.
    So that black residue presented no problem then? I would prefer to do this in the privacy of my bathroom, but obviously I cannot bring the stove in there!

      If you put pin or nail just above the tip of flame it shouldn't get blackened (try few times to see what method works best for you). You use only tip of the tool and this part should be clean, don't worry about the rest (I understand you want to have everything clean but sometimes you have to use what you have.) :-)
