I only wish Buddy would have had the opportunity to fulfill his dream for one last ride with Flair. He deserved it. He was a good man with flaws but we all have them. RIP Buddy 💯💪
I first met Buddy in high school and he never forgot me we remained friends through the years and always hugged me when I would see him and we even shot a couple commercials together for the auto dealership I managed.. I miss him alot...
Buddy was such a positive, nice guy. Totally honest and believable. Great worker too. I'm glad he worked out his problems before his very untimely passing
@@goose2054 yeah that was his last interview and typical Buddy. Dude was hysterical. He gave out his email at the end of that podcast(he didn’t do social media) and I was able to reconnect with him. I met him when I was like a sophomore in high school around 96 then later a few more times up until 00. I never laughed harder. I was just a ring crew kid at local shows. Driving guys around. Buddy was just charismatic and funnier than anyone I’d ever met. He used to say “boys nobody has to worry about athletes foot. I just pissed in all the showers for y’all. You’re welcome”.
I met Buddy at Wrestlecade. This was right before he passed. He didn’t have the blonde hair but still Buddy. He talked to me for about 30 minutes and had me laughing 29 minutes. RIP Buddy.
@@g3everex I’ve never met a funnier man. I met the late Paul Bearer/Bill Moody when I was in high school and ended up driving him around most weekends and spending a lot of time with him up until he died years later. He was funny but in a cruel way. Nasty sense of humor. The two weekends I spent around Buddy was the hardest I’d laughed my whole life. He would’ve killed on the podcasts. Sad how he went.
What most people under the age of 40 don't understand is that in the late 70's through the entire decade of the 1980's is that EVERYBODY was doing blow...& I do mean EVERYBODY. Doctors, lawyers, judges, & the average joe. It was a very chi chi thing to do. There was no information about the long term usage & effects..it boosted your energy & self confidence levels, & was a very prestigious thing to do. I spent 20 plus years & hundreds of thousands of dollars Nortin' blow & banging babes....I'm just glad I made it out & at 68 yrs old am still alive.
What a boob. Hulk was a Champion in one territory so of course he can win often. But the NWA Champion has to go to territory to territory and defend the title. So what are you gonna do have a babyface champion go against the top babyface in the territory? That would be the sh*ts. What are you going to do have the babyface champion go against the top heel in that territory? Then the fans of that territory never see their babyface get the shot at the title. I understand what he is saying but the formula was a traveling heel champion for a reason.
Love me some Buddy Landell! He's an interesting guy. He was a really good worker, great promos, great heel! RIP Buddy, thanks for the great shows!
RIP Naitch
Thanks for the upload! Lovin these interviews. R.I.P Landell

he sounded so comfortable in his own skin during this, and was in good health. Such a shame. Is there a part 4?
Did Buddy pass before getting to do part 4 ?
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I could listen to Buddy all day!
Awesome God Bless Buddy thanks.
this guy is a great interview !
Buddy was a good talent.
Too bad his personal issues stopped him.
Fantastic interview
I remember Flair & Arn saying Buddy was an excellent worker.
Loved this and all of your shoots. Plus upload Tim brooks, capt ed george, and Fred curry shoots too.
Hoping there is a part 4 and you will post it soon…
Maybe Buddy passed away in that car wreck before they could do part 4. I've looked and can't find it
RIP Budro
Hoooooold up, wait a minute!!! Sure sounds like Buddy was putting the hammer to Baby Doll!!!
Wow!!! Certainly sounded that way!
Heard a shoot he did with colt cabana where he said he was “busting the guts out of” Baby Doll…. He was really articulate and told a great story…

Nice to from Buddy
He wasn't the best wrestler but he's a gem of a human.
You should've asked him about his " fling" with Baby Doll. Theres a story behind that and she wont talk about it

I'm not trying to hate but why was it okay for Buddy landel to wrestle The Invisible Man but when Kenny Omega did it all the old-timers hated on him

I miss you Budro RIP Brother
He was gone from a car accident 6 years after this interview at 53 years of age. Gone way too soon.
Heard an Indian at Daniel Boone Festival about wrestling riding around with Buddy
