Call me crazy, but Zelda 64 still has one of the best lock-on camera systems ever. A lot of games nowadays angle the camera so that the enemy is always dead-center on the screen, but this can either cause them to be obscured by the player character, or you lose the ability to target them if they move behind an obstruction or if you back up too close to a wall. The lock-on camera here basically imitates 3-D fighting games, but if an enemy moves further away, they become more centered. The focus isn’t as much on the enemy, but on the area between them and Link. (The widescreen effect is cool, too.)
So me and my brothers had a thing when Koume and Kotake did their spiel before Link fought them... “With my fire I will make you a three course meal!” “With my frost I will keep your lemonade cold!”
Best boss compilation I've watched in a while. Widescreen, on the n64 version (which I prefer), and best of all the person playing actually knows what they are doing!
@@DeepdelverChespin they needed instakill to be intimidating. Proof enough for me Edit: honestly id be more intimidated at my current age at bongoman than if i was 10 dealing with the yigas; especially if i was doing a no death run.

Yeah, they had more of the tense block in the road you have to defeat, whereas the normal boss theme has that like.. "crazier" feel. Where the boss is a puzzle rather than using brute force with a mini boss.

Adoro esse game, foi um dos primeiros que joguei e é até hoje um dos mais populares da série e a ocarina se tornou o instrumento mais famoso de sua história.
My favorite death animation with the stalfos is when you kill them from behind its quite unique and very nice for a death animation. Also you can cheese King Dodongo with 2 Deku sticks with a jump attack for both since it does double the damage your sword does. Also the glitch doing the crouch stab if you jump attack and don't hit an enemy with the slash from any other attack and crouch to do the crouch stab, it'll actually do the same damage as a jump attack in the n64 version
I remember being 4 years old and watching my older cousin and sisters beating the bosses being the coolest thing ever. The Nintendo 64 was the first Nintendo console I ever played.🥲 said cousin is insane now.😢
Imagine Dead Hand in BOTW, your just traveling the land minding your own business then all of a sudden, a bunch of hands bursts out of the ground forming a barrier you can't escape from, you them see the long necked abomination come out of the ground trying to bite at you while even more hands come out of the ground to grab you, and you can't escape until the beast is defeated
Well, there is a generous use of crescent moon crests, and the crescent is a Muslim symbol. So that means... Ganondorf is an Arab? Hurray political correctness.
It is me or the n64 look better then the 3ds i know the 3ds has better graphics and fps but the n64 look better to me. There was one boss that I did't know what to do and this video help me to not throw my 3ds in a river.
Funny how the levels and temples were harder to beat than the bosses themselves. Phantom Ganon was also more difficult than Ganondorf. So he was full of shit when he told link that the REAL him won't be so easy.
40:07 You failed the first time on the 4th gerudo guard. Also dude, the problem you made with the iron knuckles in ganon's castle is that you woke them at the same time but you should've dealt with them separately.
Honestly waking them at the same time isn’t a problem. Whenever I’d face then I’d do spin attack and damage both. Back flip away when they swing….move in again and repeat. With no damage dealt. I haven’t played in forever but I’m excited for the Nintendo switch expansion pack!
How do you equalize the sound in Project64... the some of the sound effects on mine are normal like link swinging his sword but the noises like the sword cutting into the enemies and they screaming are much softer and quiet. Also the drawbridge is very quiet in the Games intro on the emulator than the original n64. How do I fix this? Thanks.

Maybe one mother that can split in two
