@@boomerhgt SAHB didn't get much airplay, if any, in the US, and weren't known except by a few. I first saw him on TV, and it wasn't until I heard the Faith Healer one night on Canadian radio I went out and bought Next and became a fan.

I grew up near Cleveland and wmms radio was about the only radio station in the USA to play sensational Alex . I grew up on midnight and faith ! Ahb is Cleveland rock the same as rush and Jerry Shirley and the skinny little boy from Cleveland Ohio named Alex Bevin .its great to see and hear a great rocking tribute to a not so well known band but we sure knew in the Cle.

The Dead Daisies are an Australian-American Rock & Heavy Metal Band and Musical Collective formed in 2012 in Sydney, Australia by David Lowry. Band Members are Rhythm Guitarist David Lowry, Bassist Marco Mendoza, Drummer Brian Tichy, Lead Vocalist John Corabi, and Lead Guitarist Doug Aldrich. "Midnight Moses" is the eleventh track off their 2015 album "Revolucion." "Midnight Moses" is a cover of an Alex Harvey song by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, which was a glam rock band during the 1970's. Luckily this is a Metal cover of "Midnight Moses" and it really kicks ass!! The Dead Daisies Rock!!🎸❤️🤘🏻❤️😎
SAHB were not a glam rock band
No one could ever take the credit away from the Sensational Alex Harvey Band but this is a fantastic cover version that brings this song bang up to date for todays generations and those yet to come. A brilliant homage to a fantastic legacy.
70s Scottish Rock is not only Nazareth (although Nazareth were good at times)
I do not think that Donovan & Al Stewart should be in this musical category (they're folk rock)

Saw them open last night in ERIE, PA for Kiss. They did a great job with their set. From this first tune to the last one... they rocked. Was first row and gotta tell you they embody the rock and roll spirit. They are fantastic musicians and thanks to Marco for tossing a pick to my son as well! Looking forward to seeing them again in the future.

If you're in Melbourne go and see Raw Brit, they do a great version of this song (link below) plus a bunch classic British hard rock like Purple, Free, Bad Company, Status Quo etc. Lead singer is Mick Pealing (Stars), Bob Spencer (Angels, Skyhooks, Rose Tattoo) is on guitar, the drummer was in Boom Crash Opera and bass player was in the Badloves. Excellent band.

Very cool of them to cover this song ... SAHB & The Alice Cooper Group were my two favourites as a kid mid 70's . So when SAHB then covered School's Out I was completely blown away - it was like the stars aligned , too weird ... love covers it's the best way to an introduction if they're smart - Prong doing The Stranglers , Rollins doing Pink Fairies etc ... very smart & very cool indeed

This Band Kicks Ass ! And i just learned about em . Today's Music business , if it can be called a Business ? Sucks ! There was a time when you would know about a Great New Band in minutes . Now it takes weeks or months of lucky clicks on UA-cam. I'll be buying this Bands Music for sure .

Huge Alex Harvey fan, and was pissed that last week on on our Rock Radio station when the DJ was asked to play the original and said he didn't really like it as much as The Daisy's version so I had to check it out ... WOW! I won't say it's better, but just WOW!!

I saw the Daisies once before Crabs joined the band they were good, but he pushes them to the next level.This album is great I can't wait to hear the next one.
Been a C orabi fan since his days in The Scream!!! My band opened for them at The Mason Jar in Phoenix!!! He's got such a great voice n Motley Crue never sounded better when he was in the band!!!

What a powerful old school hard driving rock voice John has, when he sings "Hey" in this song it pounds you in the chest like good old Hard Rock & Roll should, but he also still sounds fresh & new, we need more of this real Rock & Roll music to come back & more radio stations that play new music like this!!!!

Being from Akron/Cleveland Ohio, haven't heard this song in 40+ years, every bar band in Northeast Ohio played this tune because WMMS 101.7 FM really latched on to the "The Sensational Alex Harvey Band" and played this tune on the radio. I'll you tubed DEAD DAISES and I'm liking the band a lot. This tune reminds me of Velvet Revolver's sound for slither.

just got back from the rock & blues, these guys headlined Saturday night, and they blew the place up, big thanks to the Outlaws MC for a fantastic weekend.
I'm a guitarist, but I have to say, at 02:49 watching the drummer spin sticks in mid-air, catch, and not miss a beat, will probably be my 2023 "coolest thing I've seen" moment. Ridiculously cool!
