This instantly brings tears of joy into my eyes. Just wonderful!
This was so good I half expected, "Tora! Tora! Tora! " to.fade in at the end.
This is awesome. Photographic is one of my faves from Speak and Spell
Brilliant. Even the extra "crackle" when the beat kicks in.👍
this were the best DM songs that they seem to forgot totally about it.
Martin disowned the first two albums as being too soft and cheesy to perform
Once again, thank you for perfection...Vince (wink, wink). HAHA Does anyone remember that standup arcade game Spy Hunter? That is what that underlying higher pitched arp section always reminds me of. We had it here in the states.
Awesome ❤
Master as always!
I prefer this version over the original (with vocals). Thanks!
Cool
Good work on this. I will give you a like. Great tune. Bright light. Dark room. I got into Depeche Mode with Music for the Masses and 101. When I went back to listen to older stuff they sounded too pristine.
I prefer the live versions of the older songs.
Are you going to do DM sound banks (patch diagrams) for the BARP?
Good work. Only the drums are a bit off. DM used the K-55 snare from what I know.
This is indistinguishable from the original!
For the speak and spell recreations what are you using for bass and drums?
For this particular version I used my Vintage Sounds Collection Vol.1 which uses the Arturia Jup-8 V4 for all synth sounds. The drum sounds come mainly from the Korg KR-55 and the kick was created using the Behringer Pro-1.
What synths did you use to make all the other sounds in this remake?
The other sounds are all from the Arturia Jup-8V4 Vintage Sounds Collection Vol.1
Wow! Your sound design skills are pretty impressive!
JUNO ALPHA 2 has the same sound !
I like to dance like popeye the sailor man to this.
the 2600 seems the king of bass and bass drum....In 1978 I had the chance to buy 1 2600 in the store but I made a mistake, I bought the pro soloist arp and omni arp, that are garbage....but (THERE IS ALWAYS 1 BUT) I ONLY PLAYED LIVE AND 2600 IS FOR STUDIO BECAUSE IT IS VERY COMPLICATED TO CHANGE THE SOUND. RESULT= I SHOULD JUST BUY THE ARP STRING ENSEMBLE, THIS WAS GOOD FOR THE TIME (TODAY THERE IS A VST BETTER THAN THE ARP STRING AND IS FREE ) (includes today the 2600 vst is free and has 95% of the weight of the 2600 hardware
never sounded remotely like this until there sound got scrubbed up (ruined) by mute. Listen to the version from the some bizarre album. much more like whet they sounded like live
Yeah but this is in another league. Elegiac.
“Their”
Lol right Mute ruined DM’s sound 🤦♂️ Like all that awful sounding Dan Miller Gareth Jones music like Shake the Disease and Black Celebration. 😂
@@sub-jec-tiv OK fine how many times did you go and see DM play the speak n spell material before they signed for mute?? I guess I saw them about 25-30 times. personal taste but I prefer before.
@@ricdontap1 here’s a little trophy for you! You’re special! 🏆
