Depends bro. Clean rhythm or a dirty rhythm? Clean rhythm is a Fender type amp with a compressor and a spring reverb. Dirty rhythm is a Marshall type amp with gain below 5 so it doesn't take too much space. This is just a basic idea. It can get a lot more complicated depending on what you play

I have several more expensive stomp boxes but direct the distortion sounds artificial and harsh.I always liked zoom products,any tips for recording direct? All the best ,I just subscribed
Direct from the computer. If you're talking about analog distortion pedals they need to go into an amp before being recorded otherwise the signal won't sound right. The distortion will be harsh and unusable for recording.
Around the 20 minute mark. You went to the 45 preset ,what you looped stayed the same effect. When I loop and play it and then change the preset what I loop changes to that preset that I just changed to. How are you doing that? Thanks for your help
@@SurjoBhattacharjee I fixed the problem by resetting the pedal to factory. Without your video I would not have known i could switch presets during a loop. Thanks for the help!

Thank you. I don't think that is a problem with all zoom products. I didn't face that problem while demoing this. I wouldn't know about the online forums. Maybe a look at their website might help you
Is it possible that this is an ohm impedance issue? If your headphones are 250 ohm it might cause issues with the G1x4 if it functions best on 80 ohm headphones. Try researching about that.

There are patches that are user patches, maybe numbered with a U, like U1 etc. You can make your own patches there.

If it has a headphone out and a regular out then sure, otherwise not advisable with only one output

Maybe try connecting headphones to the output jack and see if it still screams. Try lowering the output volume.

I didn't face this issue. It sounds like the looper is before the signal chain rather than after
