I'm a few months late on this one but I love seeing the tactics you use. I live down in yuma so not as many smallies down here. I fish a lot of Mittry lake and Betty's kitchen. I'm close but don't fish Martinez much on the kayak. Keep them coming young buck.

I see the scientist are worried about smallies eating the chubs in lower colorado. As someone who knows about both of these species id say good riddance to the buffalo or chubs aka suckers. They arent good eating and the bass will never delete them.
