Hello sir i order an speed6 rear diff but they send me the cx7 i think,so the problem is my oem works fine but the front mounting place is broke. Can i swap the cx7 one to my oem it looks fast the same just the cable goin in is from top at cx7
The Gasket Maker you seem to have is the Permatex Anaerobic. For a short amount of time, I used Hondabond HT and it seems to work okay What is the difference between the Grey Gasket Makers, and the one you have used in the Video? It is concerning how long the seal lasts in years, or if the seal will hold better if you abuse the Transfer Case with Hard Acceleration?
I never had good luck with sealing transmissions and t cases with the grey stuff. On aluminum parts I use the anaerobic. Everything else I use permatex ultra black
Good video Chris!

What are the torque spec for the bearing caps bolt?
It’s been a while. I think it was 65 ft/lbs
Hello sir what is the difference in the cx7 case and the speed 6 they look identicals
they are identical aside from the half shaft and main drive shaft, and the drive shaft flange
Was there something wrong with the billet N caps?
not sure as of yet
are the ms6 and cx7 manual 6 speeds the same?
I’m not sure. Never looked in to that
@@ChrisGarage ok thanks for the response
Pretty sure the cx7s were all automatic and the speed 6s are all manual transmissions
@@eleoitkumar maybe in the US, the UK has plenty turbo 6 speed manual cx7's
Is it stronger or something?
nope, just a lot cheaper used and you can find them with lower mileage than the speed 6 version
