I was lucky to see this 1 minute after posting. Love these videos and this is indeed a nice Sunday surprise. Thanks! Sad that the good man needs to sell it.
Bowman 26 - long keel boat you’re being nice to me. Must be Christmas . Have a great day tomorrow and now of course as you change sides a fantastic 2020 with the Boris army.
Love the doghouse with that beautifully angled coachroof. It looks businesslike, purposeful, aesthetically spot-on. Reminds me of Dyarchy II, another Giles design, as well as the Alan Pape Ebbtide design. I think there's such beauty in straight forward utility. A wonderful vessel.
What a great accent! I have never heard one quite like it on this side of the pond! Sounds like he should be hosting Masterpiece Theatre! Oh yeah that is a nice sailboat as well.
Lovely boat and history, it's a real shame the chap is too old to sail her I bet that must feel terrible, hope the new owner appreciates it's heritage!
I would have a hard time selling a boat as beautiful as she is, but, I too, am getting to that point in my life travel when I have to start cutting back.
Nice vlog and not being patronising but you didn't need to write he was a Doctor, we can here that old school command of the language , what a Gent! A merry Christmas to all at My Classic Boat!
As a classic boat loving American, this channel cures all my ailments like medicine for the soul. Thanks!!

Amazing how narrow she looks at 5:26. What a shame he had to move the girl on. We need a class of home care professionals who can sail
That's the most narrow stern on a mono-hulled sailboat of that length that I've ever seen. Beautiful design though.
Hooray Henry to a T.
I may have missed it, but what's the point in the wishbone?
The Barbican Plymouth
About £27k for those interested..
a steal at twice the price
@@patrickwentz8413 which it is in Canadian $. If only I were fifty years younger and looking for some offshore sailing. 😍👌 She's gorgeous!
38' overall, but with such long overhangs, it's only got a 26' waterline length, My Bristol Channel cutter 28' has a waterline of 26'4"
When she is healed the water line is longer

Wasn't that a racing rules thing? The J class yachts have enormous overhang for the same reason, I think.
how to save 5000 USD/3800 pounds: get interested, read a book, get some scraps and get it done! lovely boat
