I SO enjoyed your tutorial and can't wait to try the flowers for myself! The flowers are gorgeous and I can see them being used for many different types of projects. I think I'll make my first one out of denim since I never throw old jeans away and it ought to fray beautifully. I also wanted to commend you on the quality of the tutorial itself as it was very well done. Thank you for sharing your talent and beautiful flowers with all of us. It is very much appreciated!
This is the first one of your videos I have seen: it popped up in the recommended videos in the margins when I was looking for something unrelated. (Balloon animals.) Anyway, it was so inspirational! I want to get crafty and creative for the new year and I thought what you made is so beautiful and the instructions are so clear. Very charming. Here is Los Angeles, the mentality is often "buy something" rather than "make something" and your video shows that it isn't impossible to make beautiful things. Thank you for the motivation!
Thank you for watching, that is so kind of you and your comment is so very kind :) I am thrilled you are going to get crafty this year it is so satisfying to make things :) I have lots more videos like this on my channel. Thank you again for watching, hugs Tricia xxx
Thank you for this lovely tutorial. These flowers are so soft and feminine. Very romantic. I have quite a lot of vintage fabric, lace and ribbon. I can't wait to get started. Thanks again.
Obrigado e muito gratificante ver q tem pessoas q leva a sério mais uma vez obrigado bom Natal e um próspero ano 2018 cheio de Saúde e Paz amor e alegria em Cristo Jesus um abraço bjs
I appreciate the careful instructions. Your close ups were very helpful. I’ve seen quite a few but they go threw a little fast for me and they don’t take the time like you have. Thank you so much. Your Washington state crafting friend. Have a beautiful day and scatter sunshine all along the way and smile.
I love you flower tutorials better than any other flower tutorials I've seen. You take your time, explain things. You're not all hyper and obnoxious, as some of these young gals are. You know these silly giggling girls, cell phones ringing etc. Some never have their supplies ready and are so scattered brain. And, they talk about some of the silliest things, which has nothing to do with making flowers. NO one really cares about their personal lives. They go from one topic to another. I suppose some may be bipolar. Either way, it's exhausting. You do a great job. You make sure you put things together very securely and you honestly take time to explain things, without speaking 90 miles an hour. When someone goes so fast, I lose them. You are very precise. I for one appreciate you very much.
Your teaching is quite endearing! Thank you so much. It was nice to be invited to "have a play around!" After a truely awful week because of a belovedfamily member I was a breath of cool fresh air to watch your piece! God Bless all!
How fabulous those look, Tricia! Your tutorial is so clear and simple, and yet look how stunning those flowers are!!! Thanks for the idea about using up costume jewelry for the centers. Best wishes!
Fantastic, thank you. I started off with paper flowers, became addicted, because like you, I find it quite therapeutic. I have covered my bedroom and living room walls in them, but as it is now (Covid 19) lockdown, lost my job, was using flour as glue- as don't have the means to buy proper glue, but just ran out of flour (I have to eat too lol). So naturally, my attention is now turned to fabric and I have needle and a lot of thread and fabric from failed sewing projects, so it's on!! Thanks again!!
Love all your flowers, I just love your tutorials, very easy to watch especially for visual learners, you have a very soothing relaxing voice, greetings from Australia :) and Thank You for sharing
OMG! Thank you for showing how to make these! I can see how this can be addicting! I have so many things I can use for the centers of flowers! Thanks for sharing!
Theses are awesome! Thank you for sharing. I am new to crafting and find this video very helpful for this project..the best way hands down I tried the single stitching but find this less time consuming..beautiful project!!!!!
WOW! Thanks for sharing! I'm re-fashioning a jean jacket and I think I need to make a flower! I learned a quick clean up while sewing is to use a lint roller.
I can literally make money outta creating these in Ghana. The only thing is getting the basics. I pray for long life and good health for you to teach us more. Love you.
Thank you for posting this. I have so many stripes of fabric and just gave a bag away actually.... but I still have some left so I look forward to making these. I find projects like these very relaxing as well.
I've used all kinds of fabric including all types of ribbon, toile, cashmere, paper, party streamers. Everything works depending on the look. I dye or tea stain top sheets and Tare them, fray is lovely. I've made some for bridal party big beautiful for hair, put on necklaces, braclet..clipped to my boot top and high heals. Mirror, wreath, sewn on pillow, made a running bunch and sewn to edges of pillow cases, added to old duvet cover, put on little baby crochet beanie ( without fray) jewelry boxes, and on a wrapped gift. I enjoyed this tutorial. I like the glue gun. I use a ruffle divider for bigger projects. Txs for sharing. My technique is similar but I tend to fold a little with the ribbon Bc if it's not and just round it will fold up but no biggy it will look like an amazing flower. I also add another layer to back if I need it alittle wider then just glue a peice of same fabric over it. Absolutely lovely. I'm thrilled to have found this. I wasn't sure if anyone else was enjoying doing these. Very relaxing, I agree.
Thank you for the tutorial. I have a lot of fabric that frays and did not know how to use it. Know it will become beautiful flowers! May 2015 be a good year for you and your loved ones.
Thanks lots, you have a great natural presentation style (thankfully no music) and your technique is well described and filmed. I have watched tons of flower tutes on UA-cam and I love yours. I am now a fan. Cheers.
Your generosity in sharing your talent was appreciated. I am looking forward to watching your channel on a regular bases. One of the best presentation s I have seen on youtube, Thanks again
How beautiful! I just realized I made a Christmas tree skirt for my daughter with burlap, almost doing the same thing, but never thought of making bows. So adorable!
I have been searching the internet for the perfect fabric flower for baby shower gifts for over two hours now & was about to give up for the day out of sheer frustration...... And then I stumbled onto your You Tube here & was in sheer heaven. I LOVE this tutorial so much & am so grateful to you for sharing your work with us. Thank you so much. I will definitely be making a lot of these & will think of you & smile when I gladly clean up all those little stands of thread.

I just found your tutorial and I appreciate your style of explaining and showing how easy it is to make these adorable and whimsical little flowers! How fun! Thank you!

You are very creative thank you for explaining exactly how you were making these and also telling us what kind of fabric you were using. I think I like the last one you did best I think it as called fold
Oh Trisha! These are delicious! I have been searching for days for the perfect tutorial to get me started on that isn't too daunting, and this is IT! You are a natural and so very clever to bring these to life in fabric and share with us all. Take care. I can't wait to check out your other videos! xx
That is absolutely brilliant. I am making a bouquet for a girlfriend with several brooches. I really am thinking on using this technique to do the flowers! I will post a picture if my girlfriend likes it. I've already emailed it to myself to show her tomorrow at work.
I loved these and have already picked the colors of fabrics I want to try(pale pink, cream, and pale minty green) can't wait to try it tomorrow! thanks for sharing.
I'm getting married in June and you have given me such a great idea on decorations. I have so many scraps that this is so expensive, since I'm on a tight budget. Thank you so much for your down to earth personality. Love ya girl
Problem with glue gun glue is after about a year it starts to fall apart. I rarely use that glue because I sell a lot of my stuff and I want it to last. Just my two cents.
+Victoria Rydberg You cannot beat Hi Tack original tacky glue. Fabric glue is not good because it stains things. Tacky glue will stick literally anything to anything. The tack dries clear, lasts forever, even years down the line, it stays stuck but it's also very easy to work with. I use it for every last thing in My handmade journals
Well, she did say it's just what she uses for her things... but if you are doing for selling, then yes, a more durable option would be best like sewing...
You make the most adorable , yummy, decadent, gorgeous things I have ever seen, I am stunned not much people have yet seen you, for me it's great so they won't know your secrets, that are now ours!!!!LOVE YOU.XXXX
OMGOSH, WOW. I love these. So simple, yet so elegant. When I first looked at the pix, I thought they would be so hard to make. Thanks for sharing. I am going to make these. you are so creative and make so many different types of flowers. I love how you fray it made it look so shabby. Beautiful so cute and just perfect. Thank you for taking time to do a tutorial I am going to get fabric and centers so I can practice. You are an inspiration!
Hey a little shabby chic, I am reni from Indonesia. Thank you very much for making this video. I have been wondering how can I ever made a beautiful loop flower. I have practiced one of your flower tutorials and it was gorgeous.....I can finally make a shabby chic flower! I like shabby chic flowers more and more than kanzashi flower. I think shabby chic flowers are just so so beautiful! Thank you and big hug from Indonesia :)
I ran across this video again and I actually made a bunch of these from all kinds of different fabrics. My favorites were regular cotton fabric and wide satin ribbon!! Thanks for this tut.
Wow, OMG I’ve just come across your upload by pure accident, and I must admit it was the BEST accident I’ve ever had. I can’t wait for morning to arrive so I can make one of these flowers. I noticed it’s quite a few years ago since you uploaded this video. I recon the smaller size of your flower make would be an excellent addition for my shady chick cards that I make. I now can’t wait to go explore your other video uploads. I’ve never made a fabric flower so Thanks for an amazing tutorial. Xx
This is the first flower I am going to try to make. I am a newbie so I am anxious to try this. Your tutorials are well presented and your projects turn out beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing. Sherry
These are gorgeous, and they look totally sewable too which is good for me because I like to sew a lot and rarely get sick of it. But these will be perfect to try out for making my own princess-y accessories i think, Thank You very much for the wonderful tutorial :)

Xx
Thank you so much, hugs Tricia x

These are gorgeous, and they look totally sewable too which is good for me because I like to sew a lot and rarely get sick of it. But these will be perfect to try out for making my own princess-y accessories i think, Thank You very much for the wonderful tutorial :)
