I've lived in the midwest for over 3 years now, over which time I've taught myself to fish and then fallen in love with it. As a lowly shore fisherman, my biggest walleye ever landed was 18" on the nose. Lost a few bigger ones at the shore. Literally every walleye they catch is better than my personal best LOL! Great video, great competition!
Love ya Clayton, but nothing beats watching that grin on Carter and to see him tremble. You are a class act, good man. An exemplary role model for the sport of fishing and at the least, getting outside.

I'm on the fence between the roughneck suit and the keeper suit. I hear the roughneck is tighter in the groin area and has more knee padding, as opposed to the keeper suit that fits a bit larger.
That’s exactly the difference. I went one upsize in the paints and was very happy!! (For the roughneck suit). Easily the best knee pads I have seen in a suit.
Next one you do, everyone should use the same fish finder/sonar. Live scope seems like an advantage over a humminbird lol. Love the competitions! And the early access 😅
HAH!! Live imaging doesn't matter to much when you are sitting right over the hole and can't move :) It does look way better than the Mega Live though!!
Question for you I watch your videos and was wondering if you like diesel’s heaters or propane more trying to decide and I know you do a lot of ice camping
Propane I find is easier.... I don't have any experience with the diesel heaters yet to really say one way or another. I would love to find a better solution though!
Awesome video! Maybe a ridiculous question, but I always wondered if being way up in Canada if you have to worry about wolves or other wildlife while cooking, especially when camping overnight. Do you ever carry pepper spray or any other way to defend from wolves?

There is a stray cat that has been visiting my yard since June. A beautiful Persian. She sits on my fence or by my firepit all day. She tried to run into the house multiple times but I didn’t let her in. Tonight she finally got in and ran by my fireplace then fell asleep beside it. Nope, don't have to worry about wolves at all where we are. Maybe WAY WAY up north, but even then the wolves are more scared of you.
Where I live in western Alberta, grizzly bears and wolves are a concern in the summer but not really in the winter.
