    I would love to travel for 6 weeks through Iran. Years ago I already bought a Lonelyplanet Travel guide. All this news about religious police actions stopped me. To see all of Iran I think it will take at least 2 trips of 6 weeks, probably more. So if I can find the guts or the government eases up, I’m goin.

    Amazing and beautiful country and people. Just imagine how much more prosperous it would be without American sanctions and if America hadn't deposed it's (Iran's) Democratically elected Government in the 50s and imposed a medieval dictatorship?

    Hijab is mandatory but the implementation has some flexibilities.

      Can you explain in which cases there is flexibility?

    • @visitera
      @visitera  3 місяці тому +5

      In Iran, while hijab is mandatory, there can be flexibility in its implementation depending on various factors such as location, social context, and individual interpretation. For example:
      Urban vs. Rural Areas: In urban areas like Tehran, there might be more leniency and diversity in hijab styles compared to rural regions where adherence to traditional norms might be stricter.
      Enforcement of hijab standards may vary depending on the local authorities and cultural practices. In some areas, there might be less strict enforcement, allowing for more flexibility in how hijab is worn.
      During certain social events or gatherings, there may be more flexibility in hijab requirements, allowing women to adjust their attire accordingly while still adhering to the general principles of modesty.
      Some individuals may interpret the requirements of hijab differently based on their personal beliefs and understanding of Islamic teachings, leading to variations in how they choose to wear it.
      Overall, while hijab is obligatory in Iran, there can be flexibility in its implementation depending on various factors, allowing for some diversity in styles and interpretations while still maintaining the core principles of modesty and decency.

      Στους άνδρες υπάρχει κάποια υποχρεωτικότητα;

    My friend told me that the bazaar isn't much of a place of socialization... Seems quite crowded nevertheless.

    • @visitera
      @visitera  3 місяці тому +3

      Your friend may have a point. While bazaars are bustling and crowded places, they may not always serve as primary socialization hubs for everyone. However, they do offer opportunities for interaction and connection among merchants, customers, and visitors. It's fascinating to observe the diverse dynamics of these traditional marketplaces. 🛍️🌆

    I am afraid that most of the goods sold in this bazaar are rubbish made in China. Perhaps the goods made in Iran are of good quality, but does Iran produce anything apart from clothing?

    • @visitera
      @visitera  3 місяці тому +2

      It's fascinating that you have this knowledge. It's almost accurate. The original products of reputable global brands with genuinely high quality are usually less common. Chinese products also divide into good and bad categories, with lower-quality ones being more prevalent here. Iranian products are also produced in local workshops, some of which usually do not have very good quality. However, Iranian products bearing Iranian brands can also be found, which are more expensive but have good quality.
