Emmy has a beautiful voice and Wynonna needs to mentor her confidence. Emmy you can be humble and kind but also claim confidence. Believe in yourself!!!!!
I thought the same thing awhile ago - someone like Reba or Wynonna would be perfect. Two mentors who looked up to her grandmother, would be perfect as they would have that special connection and treat her with such kindness and delicate.
Emmy's talent is exceptional in songwriting. And she's a pretty good singer. Whatever she decides to do I guarantee she'll make Loretta proud.

Watched American Idol tonight and was hoping when I heard Wy would be on the finale that Emmy's Idol would be Wy that she'd sing with. Who better to sing your duet with then another country singer who looked up to her grandmother Loretta as her idol. Amazing performances.
Emmy’s voice is unique and she’s versatile. She can really cross over or infuse her music with other genres not just country!

I saw a video where Wynonna said she has plantars faceities in her left heel. I'm thinking that's why she wasn't moving much. When she accepted her Country Champion Award she said it flared up and had to get a shot in her !eft heel and does look like she's wearing a sandal on her left foot.

i remember something about wynona being dizzy or something but boy they should put that on the screen somewhere because for a while i was thinking she hated Emmy and was just really angry about having to be there she was grimacing as she sang. however once i did remember there were some health issues i was like oh ok that might explain it.
I would love to know why they didn't just get emmy's mom and aunt who perform as a tribute to their mother to sing with emmy that would have been fun for all of us!
WOW!!!!! Why would you comment like that!! Wy did none of those things.....Wynonna is a very kind awesome person. She knew Loretta since she was 18 years old and always thought of her as her grandmother and she visited her almost every day. Maybe you should try watching some of her interviews maybe you'll! learn something instead of being a hater!

Emmy has an infectious smile and personality. Her vocals are unique. If she can deal with her nerves and has good management, she can be one of the most successful coming out of this season. I was hoping it would've been her and Will as the Top 2. Will is going to have a great career too. The others in Top 5 will do OK and then have to find a lane in the industry because their popularity won't last to the general public.
What the heck is going on with Winona, I am worried about her health. Still can sing like a warrior though.

Most of the time she performed when she was younger was on her grandmas ranch. It was easy to sing where she was comfortable. Stop being so negative about someone who is trying really hard.

Wynonna has been dealing with vertigo, and this was evident in her recent CMA performace with Jelly Roll. Her courage to perform with health issues is impressive, her voice is singular and her musicianship is impeccable. We are blessed that she is continuing to perform.

Absolutely not! With that kind of singing they just need to stand there and open their mouth. Some might need to move around or dance to keep the attention but not when you can sing like these two. Did you hear Wynona? This was a legend singing. No need to do anymore than what she just did. I felt like she was there for Emmy and Loretta. So So beautiful.
