- Even though I'm not essentially a Madonna fan, I think this is one of the most beautiful ballads ever made with a stunning video to match. The song exudes drama and sadness, while lyrically it speaks of independence, strength and confidence. Masterfully written by David Foster and Madonna herself. For my remix I took the tempo up to 120 BPM to give it some dance treatment but this meant extensive surgery on the vocals. I kept the original chords and elements but productionwise took it to a whole other level. Hope you enjoy.
