2 things to say: (1) eighteen months on it looks like you've now got to 108,000 subscribers so well done Joolz. and (2) respect to the camera man at 3:15
I stumbled on Joolz quite by chance a few weeks ago ...I was born in Vauxhall in 1950 ...and I am amazed at what I have learned about my city since watching these videos...Keep it up Joolz....Jolly good stuff...
108k now matey. well done and well earned!! been thoroughly enjoying your videos. born and lived in sauf london. live in usa now. home often :) always enjoy your reminding me of all the little things of my younger years (born '64) as well as all the other wonderful curiosities of good old london town from over the decades and centuries and always delivered in your delightful and honest ways. and lil lou lou is a wonderful talent too. runs in the family. thank you so much jools. you make home feel a little closer
'Great video. Thanks to Tom, Mr Fogg's Tavern seems to have fun by the bucket load. I wonder if he related to John and David or is that just a coincidence?
I Loved this light-hearted romp! This is one of my favorite vids of your Joolzie, just a Blast! I now know the place I am going to be the very first Thursday I am in London later this year, what fun! Everybody smiling, laughing, and drinking...what a more enjoyable time one can have, I don't know...Thanks, so much for this wonderful little piece! Superb..
Thank you for such a wonderful recommendation! It was a great place to meet up with local friends who didn't know about this gem and even more fun for my first trip to London.😁👍
That's what I call a fun pub. I have been watching your videos for a while and a realised the connection early on with the music on your track to the pub :)
How absolutely wonderful, cant think of anything better than a plate full of pierogi and barszcz followed by a proper old fashioned sing-along and real ales, I am envious of your Thursday nights.
Hey joolz love Ur videos I have even got my family loving Ur videos aswell being a cockney myself I love the music ,thank you for Ur videos I can't wait to see more xx
Another belter of a video, Joolz. Although I often head to various little pockets of London during the day on days off (I'm just outside Uxbridge so it's a fairly easy train ride), one of aims for this year is to experience and capture more of the London nightlife, and this has certainly given me food for thought... or is that, drink for thought? Ordinarily I loathe singing (even though I love the acting), but the idea of a cockney singalong is really appealing. I'd try and drag a few of my mates along for one... will probably end up on my own in the corner, but oh well, it's still on the to-do list regardless!! :)
If I ever get back over the pond I shall visit the pub for a few pints and a jolly old singalong LOL. Looks like a fun time for a night out. Finally also a face to the singing voice we hear on your videos.
Thanks emma. Could you do me a favour and email the pub telling them that! I bring all these places so much custom and they just don't seem to care. Hopefully I'll see you there!
Sorry for late reply. Yes, of course I will. Flying into London Monday, looking forward to it. I've watched many of your videos since this one. Great job, good fun & learning lots about areas of London I've often wandered around over the years, but never knew the history. So thanks!
My late wife and I used to work as a duo round all the London pubs, back in the 80s and 90s, she on sax, me on keyboards, doing all this stuff. I can singalong to all of those songs!
@@Joolzguides We had some really good times - particularly in the back street pubs - off the beaten track. I also played piano a few times in that wonderful old London institution of blessed memory - Tiddy Dols.
What a wonderful video. I was in London the last October and visited all these places. I hope I will revisit London this summer. Keep on the good work. I wish you 100.000 subscribers soon.
Fun London Guides - Julian McDonnell Films Too bad I got back from Paris so late on Thursday, I would have enjoyed this sing along! The new job was awful so I got a better one which will hopefully get me back to London for another holiday sooner!
Dang! We should have joined you on Thanksgiving when you invited us. I’ll be better prepared next trip, because I’d only had know the Mary Poppins tunes. Another fun film.
Well done Joolz on your 11, 000 subscribers . ....your getting more famous by the day 😅....Mr Foggs Tavern looks a definate for a great night out..I'll put it on my list for my next visit..keep up the great work 👏👏👍

Congrats for reaching 11k subscribers! Wow. Definitely go to the Tom Carradine’s Cockney sing-a-long in my next London visit! I am sure i will go bananas! :D Btw, much doings in London in January?
I spent a month in London in 1973, and loved every minute of it. It drizzled many days, but I expected that. It was a good reason to visit pubs, museums, and plays. I especially loved the second floor of the Chelsea Drugstore (sadly, no longer extant). An amazing city. We had a room in Hammersmith.
Love, love, love your channel!! Any chance you could show us the best places to get some lunch in London? We love visiting but it's always so hard to find something not ridiculously expensive or fast food...many thanks :)
I used to Covent seldomly I was actually more in the east end although I was based in West hamptead but I have to say Camden at night kind of sucks.. especially if you compare it to the busy Ness during the day . Having said that , the corporate way of life , so to speak , have made many music pubs close just because it was breaching the peace of these new wealthy neighborhood .
My favourite night out in London. And I'm so sad I have to be over in Bristol on Thursday when I'm in the UK next month. I'll have about 24 hours in London - hmm, maybe I *should* hire you to help maximise my time there. :D
Tell me, would you recommend this for someone of the more introverted persuasion, lol? Looks amazing. Always enjoy your vids, esp the recent ones around Hampstead, where I used to stay.
And your not locked up lol, anyway love your videos. if you get a chance to follow my channel that would be great and checkout my yeoman of the tower of London video all the best Sir
I'm glad that I found this one as I asked you about something similar on another video today but heigh ho! Cockneys in Covent Garden? Wrong side of the city isn't it? I'm not sure that I've been to that pub but I've frequented CG and it's another part of town that I like (the market intrigues me). Is the pub more towards Leicester Square station or futher down?
Funnily enough I was in a Three Mobile commercial last week...only showing in Italy. I wish I could get more acting work though. This keeps me pretty busy though.

I must say if I had the choice I wouldn't visit London in January. It's pretty bleak. I'd go to Sydney! But the sing along certainly warms you up!

Sounds like a great idea
Being a 'nan kid' I knew all these songs at primary school. I was the only 10 year old who'd heard of Marie Lloyd and Sandy Powell.
I love places like that, are there more like that in London?
Probably but I don't know them all. There must be similar things for hip hop and rock n roll karaoke etc.
Tom Carradine reminds me of Micheal Palin
Thumbs up for pierogi! :D
Yes, they do very good ones! That's a good idea.. I haven't been in a while!
Love how in this video you say you have 10k subscribers and now look at you

I didn't know where it first came from but it's a popular cockney interjection.
