Now as per recent press reports, KSEB is intending to change the on grid system and their request is with the consideration of the Regulator committee. Main change KSEB wants is to charge the electricity used by the consumer as per KSEB rate. Now as per on grid system the consumer need to pay only if the consumer consumed more power than what the consumer generated from solar .If the consumer generated more power than consumed power, then KSEB will pay for it once in a year. If KSEB's request is approved by Regulator ,then it will be a big loss to the solar power on grid system installed consumers. So it is better to wait to install new on grid solar system till it clears.

One 01 kva installed in my house by Tata solar, with Anert agencies, on grid solar,,any provision for upgrading to 03 kva,batteries taken back after warranty period is over,
I have installed Exide batteries 01 and inverter also replaced and new installed
Gross Metering Threat is the main problem now.
Anyways , make sense for new subscribers to avail subsidy and put up the system and later move to off grid if Gross metering is done.
