My husband passed away in a boating accident. He was also a Vietnam veteran that came home through California and got spit on got eggs, throwing at him, called him a baby killer. He worked as hard as any man ever worked in his life. He ran heavy equipment and crane. He was the best in his field, those years in Vietnam killed him when he died. I knew that what he saw there the killing of women and children stayed with him until the last day he was on this earth he had to fight like hell to get any benefits and somebody else helped him. He came home one day and said I can’t work anymore, I’m afraid somebody’s gonna die under my watch and so me and my son my daughter we all worked. He went to Des Moines‘s and then he went to Topeka and he was gone about six or seven months to go get inpatient help and the medication was on. I wish I would’ve known about this way of eating back then I’m thankful for this man’s experience and telling the whole world that you don’t have to take all those pills❤
Thanks for sharing. May he rest easy ❤
Thank you for your sacrifice sir; YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN....from a fellow veteran 🇺🇸
Amen, thanks for sharing
God bless all veterans
I am married to a Vietnam veteran and understand. My husband will hardly leave our property because of the PTSD. Thanks for sharing.❤
Holy cow. You were not kidding about Arn. He probably has tons of stories and would love to spend hours listening to them. We need more Arn's (and more Kerrys) in this world.
I love testimonials. They are worth more than any scientific study. Can't beat results
What a testimony!! I have never seen Kerry so quiet for so long.
I am a Vietnam Veteran as well. There are about 22 veterans who check out every day. I doubt that there are many veterans of all the wars who have not had that thought more than once through the years. I am convinced that carnivore would clear up the fog of war for many fellow vets. Even though I haven't had a suicidal thought in probably 40 years or so, being on the carnivore lifestyle for the last 6 months has made my body and my mind feel so much better than I thought possible. I tell fellow vets about carnivore everytime I go to the VA clinic which is at least once per month.
Yes, spread the word! Thanks for your service.
Amen!
@@jeannedigennaro6484 Thank you!
I cried fir this man in joy because of his success!!!❤❤❤❤ thankyou for having him Kery😊
Awesome! U are a fantastic listener. U let Arn tell his story without a single interruption. Thank u!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This man is brilliant and full of life and hope.... What an amazing guy he is.
🙌🏼 bravo!!
Super conversation!!
I have strayed the last few days. Sugar driven.
Tomorrow I am back on track. I listened to another member only video and it pulled me back to what I felt, the healing. Thanks for posting all these terrific videos.
It’s sacred work.
I've fallen off the wagon recently with store-bought ice cream. I can tell it has enough sugar that it's keeping me hooked. How are you doing now?
@@mstmarieprov I am still having carbs about 50gm daily. My resolve is low. It’s definitely comfort seeking on my part. I swear I can feel my brain and body saying yes to the carbs.
I will be alone for the next few days and I hope to do just meat and water. That and BBBE seems to reset me.
I hope you are able to reset as well!
Already tearing up at his first words.
Oh my goodness! What a great testament to the power and healing power of the carnivore way of eating!!! 🥩🥩🥩
Great interview! My best friend's husband is a veteran in his early 70's with PTSD and disabilities due to agent orange exposure. He also has type 2 diabetes. When you release this to the general UA-cam audience I'm going to share this with them.
Thank you Kerry for doing another inspiring and encouraging testimonial interview for the PHD!
Also, Arn looks about 65 years old, not almost 80! ....❤Susan Hampton
Semper fi. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Thank you for your Service.
WHAT???!!! 80, HE DOESN'T LOOK OR SOUND 80?????? WOE 😮 He just casually said it when discussing all the places he's visited. WOW 😮😮😮😮😮 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm 76 I've lived through Vietnam, not there but my husband was there, Thank you Arn for telling your story.
Wow amazing testimonial
I hope a lot of veterans listen to this.
Our veterans need so much help.
@Arn Manella, thank you for bringing us your testimonial.
May God bless you 🙏.
Oh! Fantastic story! So amazing. Very much in awe of both of you. Thankyou
Incredible interview! What energy for a 79 year old - impressive. Than you for having him on.
My step dad was a Vietnam Vet. Exactly the same as you with depression, hiding it, heavy drinking, intimidating everyone, blow off the handle. He took his own life Nov 21, 2021. he was 77 yrs old. If only I had known about carnivore back then....
Oh Kerry, I forgot to mention on the Members Only Live that I see Dave Mac always has a pen in hand and he takes notes during his interviews. You just happen to take notes on your phone. I never took offense when you would look down while interviewing people.
Arn and Kerry, please keep up the great work, inspiring others. Life is pretty empty when you try to go it alone, and by reaching out to others online and sharing your struggles and triumphs, many more people find the connection they seek and beat the feelings of hopelessness. No one's life goes untouched from sorrow, trauma, or loss. Talking about these things creates a spirit of togetherness and give meaning to what can feel meaningless. GOOOO GO GOOO, YOU TWO!!!!!
I would love to meet him in person. Good job Arn! Wonderful to hear him express his Catholic faith and how he goes on pilgramages...Wow. Our Lord and Blessed Mother sustain him on his journey.
Nice to meet you Arn. What a life. Enjoy your new life. Thx guys for doing this, filming it and sharing it with us.
Wow your guest is such a brilliant man! So sharp and intelligent. Very very inspiring! Thank you Kerry for featuring him
Kerry, we absolutely love the way you handle your interviews.. you let the people share their heart, your so good at this.. God has anointed you for this ministry... Love this mans testimony.. related to him so much,, not a vet but post trauma.... thanks again Kerry and family... you're doing great
Thank you for your kind feedback. Arn is a natural story teller and so I was happy and blessed to be able to just listen. These stories are so important and much bigger than me. Thank you
Phenomenal interview! Arn, you're truly an inspiration to veterans and civilians alike. I just bought a copy of your book to read. Semper Fi and God Bless!
I knew there was a reason why I liked this man, he's a fellow jarhead!
I, like him, found carnivore & I'm so glad that there are people out there like Kerry, Arn,Dr's Berry & Chaffee.
I’m doing the Appalachian Trail as a carnivore last year and finishing this year. All along so many soldiers walking to fight depression. They are eating so horrible. When they talk to me I tell them why I won’t eat all the horrible junk food they are eating. I tell them it’s not worth sacrificing my mental health. They can’t believe it can be done without carbs even though I am. I think they are just addicted. They eat crap and drink alcohol and wonder why they go home still depressed.
Arn lives a full life, what a guy 👍
I’d love to hear Arn again. So intelligent. I’ve not ever had low mood but am starting to become anxious about the future of new generations and coping with that. Age 82 and started carnivore 1:18:20 after seeing Maggie. Doing well but missing my wine. He has inspired me. Love the meat diet after years of growing veg and pushing them as a nutritional therapist and teacher of nutrition.
Trying hard to help others on a new path.
Such an awesome amazing healing! Go Arn!!! So proud of him!!! Great interview Kerry! So Inspiring!🎉💪🥩👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️

What an interesting and amazing man Arn is. So glad that he found the PHD and is living his best life. He will absolutely be an inspiration to others as he shares that testimony, and especially when his book starts getting into the hands of those who desperately need that information and guidance. Thanks for sharing Kerry!
I loved his toast to Kerry at the end!!
So interesting! I am annoyed my lunchtime at work is over as I need to finish this!!!!!
A very strong man and a true hero.
his story means a lot to a lot of us , and its so simple ........ MEAT !!
I loved this interview! Thank you Kerry and Arn ❤
What an amazing interview! Just WOW!!!
Hello I’m 79 and for the last month I’ve been on carnivore with the odd slip a tin of soup, cauliflower, and an unsweetened block of jelly but my backache which was constant from the moment I got up is down 50% or less. I am sleeping through the night without having to get up for a pee, I have enthusiasm for life again and enjoying the day. I was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I just didn’t want any more life feeling like I did. I wasn’t feeling suicidal just tired of living feeling worn out and now I have been in my greenhouse tidying up planting plants, feeling so much better and I have lost 8 pounds , I realise I’m going to have to empty my fridge of all the veg and my cupboards of the tins of beans and it will be wasteful. Will pass it on to someone else and just do what my body needs.
Amazing interview! Thanks for everything you do to heal humanity
This is absolutely amazing. I'm overjoyed for him ❤

Does he live in Chicago?
Play at 1.75 to 2 times playback speed.

he reminds me of Clint Eastwood well punk are you going to eat that steak or whistle Dixi .
What do you carnivores think about eating pork rinds?
I started the ketvore two months ago. Any advise is welcome.
Should we supplement with vitamins?
❤
🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻
Does meat have antioxidants???
Yes, it does. Not in the same amount as fruits/veg but the carnivore diet tends to lower oxidative stress on the body thus reducing the, "need" for antioxidants in the first place.
@@papillonbleu721 does liver have a lot
@@user-oe8pd4rn4b I'm not sure about the liver question. If you like liver, it is very nutritious. If you are curious about antioxidants, I recommend doing some research. I also recommend watching some of Dr. Ken Berry's videos. I am sure he has some on antioxidants.
Thank you, another AH-mazing interview. If you are able, please clarify the chocolate issue. Drbeckyfitness offers insights to the amount of cacao vs sugar. His issues may be sugar related. Am sure I am not the only person thinking that chocolate can be a deal breaker, at least, initially. 72% and above.
Hi, I love chocolate. I don't know why the chocolate has this effect, though that is likely due to my not having been on Ketovore/Carnivore before. Here's my thought. In the past, when I was eating the SAD, the effect of chocolate was likely hidden by the carbs. But, when the effect is revealed by an absence of carbs, that may be the the reason. I need to review my journal to see if there's a correlation. More later. Thanks for the question.
💯💯💯💯💯
❤❤❤
28:15 is this guy gonna get on with talking about low-carb or what?
Not important but I'm curious if "Arn" is short for a longer name. Do you know, Kerry, if that's the case?
I’m not sure I hope to have more conversations with him though or possibly do a live stream although I know he’s traveling right now
Arn is usually short for Arnold.
@@ivydickson7596 🤦🏻♀️ Duh! Of course! Didn't even think about the obvious! 🤣 Thanks! 😆👍🏼 I just never heard an Arnold being referred to as "Arn."
I don't like when names are cut short. Parents don't name their baby with one name only to be cut off later in life with a shorter name. I used to go by Sandy because my friends called me that. But as I grew older, I realized it's kind of disrespectful to my parents who named me Sandra and not Sandy. But that's okay if old friends still call me Sandy. It's not very many who do. I just wish I never put "Sandy" in my videos at the end credits because it's permanent.
@@1Hope4All Respect is complicated and largely about intent. In virtually every area, our parents make the decisions for us when we are little, and then we make decisions for ourselves as we mature and become more independent. A name is but a collection of sounds and symbols chosen to represent us, and we may not always resonate with what our parents picked for us.
Healthy, loving, emotionally mature parents can usually make a distinction between a decision made our of disrespect vs a harmless personal choice.
Have you ever read the book Stargirl? The lore of the book is that a girl named Susan jokingly told her mother one day "my name isn't Susan, it's pocket mouse". The mother thought it was cute and went along with it. Over the years, she changed her name multiple times until the "present", at which time she goes by the name "Stargirl." The lore also goes that to her, a name is like clothing and they can get worn out with time.
I gotta say I am the same way. I went by multiple aliases as a child and changed my name legally in adulthood. My dad is fully supportive of my name change and when I asked him about it, said it wasn't disrespectful to him. My mother is abusive and tends to take things very personally. She does not respect me name change, but then again, she doesn't respect her children at all.
Basically, there are many different ways that you can frame something and not necessarily be wrong.
May I ask? When did you decide to start going by your full name, and what led to that change?
@@MayBlake_Channel There's a lot in a name. I do believe NAMES are very important. It's not like a piece of clothing you can change. Names don't just wear out. NAMES are even very important in Scripture. Every word, every name matters.
I can see how your mother doesn't approve of your name change. I can imagine that she feels very disrespected. I would also imagine that it was your mother who gave you your name and not so much your father, which explains why your father is not bothered by your name change. And if you believe your mother doesn't respect you, seems like you don't like your mother very much so you take her actions as disrespectful and perhaps that's why you changed your name. I don't agree with your name change. But that's just me.
I realized when I was in high school when another "Sandy" disrespected me and my full name because before that, I went by Sandra even though people were calling me "Sandy" without me asking them to do so. So asked them to please call me by my full name. My mother named all of her children.
NAMES DO MATTER.
Health is awesome and from God
However it’s not everything…salvation for our souls is why Jesus died so we can have life abundantly here and in eternity. ❤
Honestly I'm starting to think death to this whole system of modern life, we will not be able to withstand the monster we have wrought
Hey, cook the dog food so there’s nothing live in it then they put fake wink wink crap back in it and sell it to you to feed your dog. I make my own dog food and my dogs. Love it.😂
