I find it ironic that dogs were replaced, because the German law that prohibits animal cruelty was directly from Herr Mustachio himself, and dogs were his favourite animal.
I find it funny how they couldnt include blood because it wasn't kid friendly but then in kirbys dreamland 3 the final boss is literally a bleeding eyeball
and then that eyeball came back, bloodier and eyeballier and then an unrelated character was retconned into being so edgy his wrists slit themselves and then another unrelated character got gradually lobotomized by a machine, had his soul killed, his body taken over, and had both of them and the machine that lobotomized him before and took over him a few seconds ago killed at least two more times, partially because his daughter scammed him wrong and then yet another unrelated character saved three unrelated characters from death and possibly suicide, went insane, gaslit the three into sacrificing a lot of things, used their almost dead bodies as meat shields and bludgeoning tools and then sacrificed them and himself and a while before all that, a tangentially related character developed clinical depression because he opened the world's ass to a bunch of nukes kirb lore is kid friendly
I know the origin of Schabbs's name! It's explained in the official wolf3d hintbook. Apparently it's derived from an in-joke they had at the time, where they'd come up with various neologisms centered around the word "shabby", such as "shabbitude" for the state of being shabby or "shabbitations" for shabby places. I guess they replaced the h with ch to make it more German.
At this point I would be more shocked to hear if Rebecca Heineman *hasn't* worked on something, by now I'm convinced she's had something to do with everything
I knew she worked on the Apple IIgs version (which iirc has actual German voice acting!) - figured she might've been involved with the 3DO version - didn't know she worked on the SNES version too.
She basically single-handedly made the 3D0 Doom port. It was a goddamn Herculean effort that it even exista due to her boss' (forgot his name) complete and utter ignorance at how to create a game at the time.
Japan has an interesting history of Hitler censorship. Persona 2 just dropped him in the game wholesale, but the western releases gave him sunglasses and called him "Der Fuhrer." The moustache is still there though.
@@GermanPeter Funny you should make that joke. Atlus, the makers of Persona, made a WWII game called Operation Darkness that had British soldiers turn into werewolves. It was a weird game.
It was changed in the psp version for both the Japanese and Western versions. The psx original version of innocent sin was never released in the west, and eternal punishment never had Hitler in the first place.
The reason behind Dr. Schabbs name is actually stated in the official strategy guide. On one of the page's trivia sections, the writer mentions that it's an inside word at Id Software, which they used whenever they would be referring to something undesirable.
"Protecting children from Nazi imagery" has probably had the opposite effect. The part of Australia in which I grew up, schools avoided any mention of the events and ideologies around WW2 until we were 16. not everyone stayed in school that long, and even then, WW2 only came up in an _elective_ subject, modern history. This wasn't about keeping us away from war, no, we hear about WW1, particularly Gallipoli, every year from the age of 5. Up to the age of 16, my only knowledge of WW2 was that the Germans had way cooler guns, tanks, and aircraft. The town I grew up in is _full_ of Nazis now. I'm not being hyperbolic, here (maybe with the word "full", since it's not literally everyone, but not with the "Nazis"). I don't mean fiscal conservatives who also hate the gays. I mean there's plenty of folks with Iron Cross and Valknut tattoos when they think they're being clever, and SS tattoos when they lack even that much imagination. Most people can't tell the difference between a random skull and cross-bones and the Totenkopf unit insignia, but to the keen eye, there's plenty of those tattoos there, too. My point is, you shelter kids from the _realities_ of WW2, and you just make a new generation of Nazis. They turn to the History Channel for their education, and all you see there is "NEXT ON NAZI SUPER-WEAPONS!" and episodes of Ancient Aliens that work very hard to reinforce the idea that brown people couldn't possibly have built impressive things so it MUST have been aliens. Maybe if we'd taught kids in the 80s and 90s why they were shooting Nazis we wouldn't have the Nazis back, now. I've mentioned the Bad Thing and the Bad People several times in this comment, so I'll be surprised if UA-cam lets it see the light of day.
Really well said, I hesitate to try and laugh off fascists and ignore them because you have to know your enemy and keep an eye on them. I suspect 30s Germans were also writing them off as piss babies who are best not given attention but that's not enough somestimes
@@spyczech Just a reminder, that word comes from the italian ideology, not the german one. The littori's fasces are an etrurian symbol that has been reused by mussolini to represent "justice" and to "bring back the old ways". it's a different ideology, As much as they are similarly bad, they both had very different approaches and ideals.
It's the same impetus for releasing uncensored Looney Tunes collections for older animation enthusiasts. They know that some of the scenes are questionable if not downright abhorrent, yet censoring them out is plain denialism; leaving them as is should remind people that not everything is uptight in Golden Era USA where "traditional values" is king-at least to white Anglo-Saxon people.
@@tuamaputanna2897 Whatcha mean by just a reminder? "it's a different ideology" are you trying to say german nationalsocialism wasn't fascist? or I should have to preface that? Or just a patronizing "reminder" for the sake of?
I love seeing marphy black appear in videos. Such an underrated person and UA-camr. They’re ridiculously knowledgeable in so many older games it’s crazy
21:53 interesting to note that BJ's arms while shooting are using his old cutting room floor brown jumpsuit that was changed to grey in the release version
The civvie references caught me off guard every time. It's so cool that you got an actual developer to interview! And of course it's always entertaining to see the changes. Also, "Nazis are only good for punching" is a quote I will use now. I usually say "Time to engage in the all-american passtime, killin nazis!" when I play WW2 related games like wolfenstien or sniper elite because I find it fun to say.
18:25 You forgot about Super 3-D Noah's Ark, a modified wolfenstein 3D where instead of killing nazis, you're putting animals to sleep by throwing fruits at them.
"Let's begin with the very first title" *starts with the third title* Guess "Castle Wolfenstein" and "Beyond Castle Wolfenstein" were not actually affected in any way, then?
I mean... they were banned. What else do you want me to say? :D Also, they're not commonly counted among the Wolfenstein games. When you talk about the Mario series, you also don't start at Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong.
Speaking of physical merch, the Wolfenstein miniatures/boardgame use a combination of the uncensored story with the recent Bethesda censored aesthetics. So Mecha Hitler is there, but also all the swastikas and iron crosses have been replaced with the triangle symbol from the German New Colosssus. Which I really don’t mind because I kind of don’t want to spend my hobby time painting a bunch of swastikas on my toy soldiers. Pretty sure the eagle graphics replacement in New Order is the old dramatic chipmunk meme! Pretty cool that you got Burger Becky on! Absolute legend!
Oh yeah, the board game! I saw that, but it's not out yet. Definitely will have to get my hands on it, I love the new re-imaginations of the characters. And I can see the dramatic chipmunk in there, but it doesn't explain the tail. OH! Maybe it's a reference to the mutant rats from the SNES port??? I gotta find someone who worked on the game and ask them.
@@GermanPeter The board game is out! At least I have a copy, although I backed it on kickstarter... maybe it's not in retail yet. In any case, it makes sense to go for a single design since it's pretty expensive to have a whole separate production process for a censored version. It's one thing to do that for a videogame, but with physical goods like injection-molded plastic and rule books, that's an enormous hurdle. And even though Wolfenstein games are okay now, I have no idea how Germany feels about Nazi imagery in toys, collectibles, and boardgames. Probably not too favorable! For the most part the characters use MachineGames era designs that were already created for those games, but they created brand new designs for some of the series' older characters like Hans Grosse and Fettgesicht so they would match. Pretty cool!
@@ShallowVA I'm completely fine with the missing Nazi imagery, because it makes it a bit less iffy for me to actually collect these figurines. Guess I am also fine with having a Hitle- I mean Staatmeister figurine then :D Gotta get my hands on it for sure! Just wish they didn't use the triangle symbol, I'd have much preferred the older Wolfenstein logo that they used in RTCW and Wolfenstein 2009. The triangle just seems lame to me.
@@GermanPeter For sure, I really don't need Nazi symbols on my toys, and the miniatures hobby has enough problems with right-wing weirdos as it is without the perceived encouragement. Personally, I like the triangle as an in-universe symbol for the Fascists Who Shall Not Be Named. In RTCW they look like they're advertising the very game that they are in! I guess it would make sense for guards at Castle Wolfenstein itself to have the winged W symbol, like maybe that's their thing, but Wolfenstein isn't really that important to the faction as a whole. I've been kind of hoping they eventually bring back Staatmeister as his own character! The series is definitely goofy enough for something like that to happen.
I was wondering, in German schools how much did they teach you about nazism, ww2 etc. I’ve heard that in Japan there is a lot of censorship and propaganda around imperial Japan and WW2 and I assumed it was different in Germany
Mandatory to teach, and I think it's required to visit a concentration camp too. That's what we did, anyway. Germany doesn't shy away from teaching its dark history, and for good reason.
Even the neighbours aren't safe. Over here in Switzerland, pretty much all of later education (Grade 7+), WW1+2 are almost the whole curriculum of the subject "History". (I might have exaggerated a bit, but I can't remember anything else that I was taught in school within that subject.)
@@GermanPeter I think that’s the best approach to take, as it would probably help against such movements from gaining any support in the future. That’s why I’ve always found it strange that Japan still denies so many atrocities committed by them in ww2. However, it is interesting to know how they are dealt with in Germany
@@rGunti maybe it’s because it’s relatively recent history and both wars were really impactful in modern European history? Because even growing up in the UK a huge emphasis is put on ww1/ww2 in our history lessons and even though we were taught older history, it was way less prevalent
When DOOM first came out my lil sis would watch me play DOOM and She was the same way; not scared , made up names for the monsters. My favorite was She called the Revenants "Macarena Skeletons" lol
Idk if like everyone else is already saying this but the red cross is weirdly strict with its copyright on the red cross, idk if this matches up time wise, but doom for instance also had to change its red cross symbol in some ports
Weiter so Peter! Mal wieder ein echt qualitativ hochwertiges Video von dir. Eigentlich wollte ich in Englisch schreiben - aber ich denke, dass es das etwas persönlicher macht. 🎉
I was stationed in Germany from '92-'96. In about '93 I was dating a girl from Luxembourg. She came to my post one weekend and she saw us playing the US version of Wolf3D and she was totally shocked when she saw the uncensored version of the game.
Fun fact: To censor the wolfenstien levels in doom 2 some ports straight up remove the map. In doing so using the cheat IDCLEV 31 or IDCLEV 32 in those versions crash the game because the levels still exist in code but the maps have been removed, thus the game tries to load the maps but since there are no maps the game doesn't know what to do and crashes.
Burger Becky! I’ve played a good handful of your console ports as a kid since I grew up on the SNES and SEGA Genesis despite being born in 98. I’ve also played some of your ports to the 3DO and Jaguar via emulation.
Great video, i love the interview with Rebecca Heinemann its super informative and funny (they censored the rat tongue lol). Can't wait for the next game.
Rebecca's insight was interesting. I think you posed constructive and relevant questions to her as well. Thanks for going into so much detail. Can't wait to see your experiences with the next game :).
I was surprised you didn't mention the Christmas version. For many years that would be the version you would find in shareware collections. I actually thought that it was an official mod and only relatively recently learned that it was unofficial. Of course, getting your dirty hands on the real Wolfenstein made you the coolest kid on the schoolyard. And if you had Doom 2 it absolutely had to be the version with the secret Wolfenstein levels. I don't even know if any other version existed. But it was great to be able to whisper that you actually had the "illegal" version.
... and we shared it anyway with our friends on floppy. When my parents found out, they were not amused at first but then realized they couldn't stop us anyway - we would only play it hidden from them. So, they sat down with us, told us about our grandfather who died in WW2 and then let us continue to play wolf3d so we had a clear difference of "This was the cruel and horrifying reality." and "This is just game/pixels."
Good. I will never forget one of the most annoying things I've read, someone said their young nephew was playing a military FPS (maybe COD World at War) finished one of the levels, and turned around to him and said (completely genuine) "I would've been pretty good at World War II!"
Im not really sure but now that i think about it, i believe the "Cancer Mouse" that replaces the Reichsadler in the Nightmare Level of The New Order are suppose to be the Rats from the censored Wolfenstein 3D Version of the SNES. Thats my guess at least. Nicht unbedingt das beste nationale Wappentier aber eine Krebs Maus is trotzdem süß.
That's what I just thought about too! I'll try to ask someone who worked on the game what they're meant to represent. If they really are the mutant rats, that's gotta be one of the cutest references ever, seriously!
I remember hearing about the ban on Nazi imagery in video games being lifted in Germany around the time that Germany announced they were massively increasing their military budget. When I told my history nerd friend this, his reaction was "Dear God, it's happening again."
Yeah massively increasing means. We did what was mandatory in the EU and NATO to spend. Which we for years did not. (I think it was something around 2-4% of the income of the land where we did the bare minimum. Also not even the mandatory ones)
ahhhhh - shooting dogs is a nono but shooting cute rats is a-okay! gotta love censorship. great video, i love these long essays from you! i also totally forgot the wonderful voice acting in the og release of the game. good times (not in a historical sense, of course!)
I think shooting rats is seen as okay because rats are generally regarded as vermin, while dogs are, y'know, Man's Best Friend, so shooting them is not so okay.
Oh my! Such an interesting video especially how you even got really good interview with super interesting questions for someone who actually worked on the game itself. That is just sooo sick to hear all this insider knowledge she shares.
24:32 That was likely unintentional to refer to the player as Amerikanerin, but I think it actually works out. I interpreted this as him egging you on by calling you a weak little (American) girl.
Problem is that he says "Amerikaner", i.e. the male form. He just uses female pronouns at the same time, so it's a bit of a hodge-podge of broken German.
cool video peter, can't beleive Erlangen is the new Bielefeld now ^^. As Hans grosse they couldn't implement him with the ß since the letter only got added into the standard unicode for computers in 2008
At least in the DooM WADs, each font is its own lump (a lump is a "file", e.g. a sound or image). They could have put that at least in the hidden secret levels in DooM 2. The level startup-names (e.g. "ENTRYWAY") are DooM BMP lumps, so they could use ANY letter they wished at least in those games.
As the swastika does, of course thats why the effer used it. We are humans, we cant have nice things. Lets imagine he drew that xD its really funny to see people nowadays react to drawings of middle ages Them: "Oh well, i never knew these people in the middle ages were nazis, did you?" Me: "...wha?"
An excellent and informative video and big props for getting an interview with Rebecca Heineman. Also, on the subject of Dr. Schabbs' name, it was a reference to an in-house joke at Id Software where "Shabs!" was used to describe anything that lacked quality.
you forgot to say the superness of the snes port gave us the greatest game made on the wolfenstein engine. SUPER 3D NOAHS ARK. also this was a fun informative video on a shooter I personally love to play, great job and can't wait for the next video.
If I had to make a guess why some versions of the game give the standard guards green uniforms, it might have to do with the brown uniforms representing the SA (essentially a precursor to the SS) Dressing them in green makes them look more like normal Wehrmacht soldiers and helps with censorship
The SA was absorbed into the Wehrmacht before the war started, after the Nazis purged the SA leaders (night of the long knives). Also the Wehrmacht used field grey uniforms (like in WW1), the only green uniforms pre 1945 I can think of are imperial Russian uniforms in WW1. The SS had some camouflage with green spots ( the precursor to modern Flecktarn Camouflage used by some western countries today) at the very end of WW2.
For whenever you inevitable make a video about the modern games: I think it's worth noting that the indie game "Through The Darkest of Times" from Paintbucket Games was the first game to ever receive an USK rating for a gamescom demo including swastikas. They were arguing that videogames can be a form of art, and were allowed by the USK. Which led to Wolfenstein to release in Germany with this imagery as the "International Version". The reason we still have a censored version was, that retailers like MediaMarkt and Saturn did not want to sell the uncensored version (even if it was given a proper age rating).
From what I've read, a political satire browser game called _Bundesfighter II Turbo_ drew scrutiny when one of Alexander Gauland's moves resembled a swastika. The prosecutor's office in Stuttgart refused to investigate, citing the admission of the Bundesverband Interaktive Unterhaltungssoftware to the German Cultural Council in 2008 which officially recognised games as an art form rather than a mere toy.
@@blakegriplingph Yes, however this was on a federal level (since it was political satire). The USK back then said "We have this rule in place, but if someone wants to fight it, we could probably lift it". And TTDOT was the first game (with a publisher, gamescom booth etc) that actually took that path.
I remember grewing up in germany. i was unable to find games im looking in germany. same applies to Goldeneye007 for N64 similiar situation. until Moved back to Poland, had rebought everything that im unable to find or purchase games in germany. it was blown my mind to see difference censorship on same game. atleast stayed in Poland cause no censorship at all.
According to the hint manual, Gretel is supposed to be saying "mein buße" upon death. Also, id meant to hire a woman to say her lines, but they were running out of time and just used the placeholders Tom Hall recorded.
This was a very interesting and informative video on the game, I am glad that the ban on Wolf 3D was lifted recently though, it's such a genre defining game that it deserves to be played by more people. Locking it to the SNES for so long has likely made it very inaccessible for a long time. Good work! You've earned yourself a new subscriber!
I thought for a very long time, that the white suited guys scream "Mein Führer!" when they die. I never heard "Nein Sowas..." before. As a German it's always funny to hear foreign speakers try the german language and sounds a bit sloppy. But in my oponion that's why Wolfenstein 3D is so legendary. Keep up the good work buddy!
I actually thought they said that too for the longest time! It makes sense, since the SS say "Mein Leben", and the officers are so much more devoted to being Nazis. Really odd.
Censorship is pretty lame, no amount of censorship will ever change history or reality. pretending you never got a brain tumor diagnosis is not helping or solving the problem.
The First Wolfenstein Game ist actually Castle Wolfenstein for the Apple 2 Computer. It is very primitive and Not very relevant in a Video Like this but its interesting to know. Tolles Video übrigens.
It's worth noting that while the SNES version of Mortal Kombat had all the blood removed, the SNES version of Mortal Kombat II was nice and bloody (and also much better mechanically), because by that point the ESRB had been formed and Nintendo knew they'd lost that fight. Also a lot of Nintendo's aversion to mature content was Nintendo of America specifically, but when an American production like Mortal Kombat got compromised, a lot of the time they couldn't be bothered to re-bloody it up just for a Japanese release.
I think the funny thing is that in the prototype version of the SNES port, all the enemies and bosses that you fight say “Hey!” and Levels 2 and 3 were intended to be in their original spots. Also, Dr. Schabbs kept some of the blood on his shirt like in the original PC version before it was completely removed in the final cut. And in the SNES version, it wasn’t just Hitler who had his name changed, but also the Death Knight. Even though his original name was somehow left unchanged in the gameplay, it was slightly altered to the Black Knight, according to the game’s manual. But in the Japanese version, it has been revealed that his real name in that version is Roy Giggam, which sounds quite unique, something that I’ve never heard of before.
Oh my, I didn't even notice Schabbs' shirt was bloodless! That's incredible, and it explains why even in the Jaguar port it's completely white, since they based the sprites off of the SNES ones!
@@GermanPeter Yeah. Apparently, they’ve also done the same thing to the mutants, Trans Grosse, and the Ubermutant. In the original PC versions, they all wear green outfits, but in the SNES, Jaguar, Mac, and 3DO versions, the former two wear outfits with a darker shade of olive green, while the latter wears a brown one. I don’t know why’s that, but I can see why the creators decided to remove the blood from Schabbs’ shirt. And the Death Knight, well, in the Jaguar, Mac, and 3DO versions, they removed the targeting system that covered his left eye. Again, I’m not sure why, but still.
I think the colors of the outfits were changed because the SNES game has a different palette, or maybe it was easier to see from a distance with the pixelated screen. The Jaguar sprites are all REALLY lazily made, so I'm not surprised that the targeting system is missing. Here's a good compilation of sprites with very chunky pixels: www.spriters-resource.com/jaguar/wolfenstein3d/sheet/206205/
@@GermanPeter Hmm, interesting. Seems like they just suddenly got away with that issue. And I’m also not surprised that the enemies forgot to walk left and right in that port, unlike in the original versions, especially with the bosses not saying their last words before falling to their deaths. Also in the Japanese version, Staatmeister/Trautmann was supposedly a colonel whose plan was to resurrect the dead by using an experimental virus known as Medicine LDD4, as well as having them to take over the world. Yes, Schabbs was originally the one in charge of making that plan, but it’s still very confusing. Because the storyline says that you have to fight all the mutants, the game was given the subtitle “The Claw of Eisenfaust”. Well, we actually don’t know if that is even a character or not. And no, the game didn’t even tell us anything else about what the claw is or does, since the name “Eisenfaust” is nothing more than just a codename for the original game’s second episode.
It would be fun if you made a documentary on HOW Germany became so overbearing with censorship in videogames. Maybe even talk about the frontal21 documentaries.

Fun fact, I live near Raven Software and did alpha and beta testing for Wolfenstein 2009. I also grew up in Madison and lived down the road from ID Software when they lived here and were programming Wolf3d. I had no idea at the time but learned many years later as an adult. That meant we got ahold of Wolfenstein 3d on our PC probably earlier than most people in the world. It was one of the first games I remember playing on our PC as a small kid. When I was a kid I always heard Wolf3d was banned in Germany and I was very sad to hear that an entire country could not play the game because it was based on real events. So it is interesting to hear what kind of censorship you guys had in your country. We only had to worry about dumb censorship on our console games thanks to Nintendo, so the Sega genesis games having no censorship like Mortal Kombat 1 was a breath of fresh air. I had no clue there was real places in Wolf3d as a Wisconsin, USA boy. I assumed Wolfenstein was not real though. It is not, riiight? I never rented or played the SNES version cuz I knew of the censorship, and I had the PC uncensored version from a very young age since we got it almost straight from the guys who made the game just downtown (literally a 10-15 minute drive from where we lived. I grew up on Hegg Ave in Monona, WI and I know the ID guys lived in an apartment off Park St. I saw a pic of the building and said “yup, I know where that place is, tho there’s many similar Apartments in that neighborhood.” Not too far from Downtown Madison WI near the University of Wisconsin Campus. Madison was in its golden age during the 1990’s, it sucks really bad now. Rent used to be great, now it’s astronomically high thanks to rich real estate moguls who moved here from Cali and ruined the City, and companies like Google made offices here when no one wanted them except corrupt city officials.
23:45 In regions outside of Germany, The "ß" is commonly transliterated (for example, into english as a surname as it is in this case) as "ss", just like "ä", "ö" and "ü" are transliterated into "ae", "oe" and "ue" respectively.
Back in the day, the only way I could play wolf3d was the shareware which was circulated on floppies. very quickly is tarted modding and sharing these mods with other people on floppies. the first thing everyone did was to remove any WW2 references to make sure parents would not be alerted, it was a natural thing to do, the appeal for me was the gameplay, not the imagery and some mods were extremely good so I never felt i missed out on something. Japan has an interesting history of Hitler censorship.
Persona 2 just dropped him in the game wholesale, but the western releases gave him sunglasses and called him "Der Fuhrer." The moustache is still there though.
Should have turned him into a wolf and called him "Der Furrer".
No wait, that'd attract the wrong kind of people, I take it back.

"Yuckyball" is now my favorite nickname for the Cacodemon.
"Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it."
Perfect example right here.
"it's a different ideology"

They go into depth explaining what happened and shun the Nazi Party.

They left the secret exit in Map 15 when they did this, so you can be rewarded with your game crashing without even using cheats.

11:49 Reminder that German Shepherds weren't really used for combat. The army used Rottweilers for that purpose more so.
... and we shared it anyway with our friends on floppy.

If I had to make a guess why some versions of the game give the standard guards green uniforms, it might have to do with the brown uniforms representing the SA (essentially a precursor to the SS) Dressing them in green makes them look more like normal Wehrmacht soldiers and helps with censorship
That makes sense!
i allways assumed the brown uniforms were supposed to be afrika korps for some unknown reason
@@arekkrol9758 Afrikakorps did use brown uniforms, and the SA were mostly dead before the war began so the former are more likely to be known.
Wolf 3D does take place in 1945 if I remember right, at least the original 3 episodes

This was a very interesting and informative video on the game, I am glad that the ban on Wolf 3D was lifted recently though, it's such a genre defining game that it deserves to be played by more people.
This has been very informative. I learned a lot. :)
Awesome video. German gaming is fascinating. I always feel a little sad for parts of the world affected by censorship and bans.
Denazification... such an interesting process.

I saw a pic of the building and said “yup, I know where that place is, tho there’s many similar
Apartments in that neighborhood.” Not too far from Downtown Madison WI near the University of Wisconsin Campus. Madison was in its golden age during the 1990’s, it sucks really bad now. Rent used to be great, now it’s astronomically high thanks to rich real estate moguls who moved here from Cali and ruined the City, and companies like Google made offices here when no one wanted them except corrupt city officials.
Nicely made video, thanks
Edit: the game was banned in my area for the same reasons as in germany, so there was no real release, just bootlegs )
CANCER MOUSE CAMEO CONFIRMED
the censorship in Germany seems overbearing to me
They could just change the time period to 1914 and turn hitler into wilhelm II
