Thank you for the video and for showing the ultimate app. I'm quite surprised that I just discovered this product when I was looking for a game controller. Immediately look for a review on UA-cam, but get even more surprised that there are only a couple of artist-review videos for this seemingly great mini remote to be used as a CSP remote. Especially on the go paired with an iPad. Your video convinced me to just order one. Hopefully nice to use. But hey you can still use it for simple games! :)
Thank you for your review and explanation! I was in doubt, I'm ordering the micro today!!! I use CSP on windows, but I do have krita and othre stuff on my android tablet so hopefully it will work on everything and I'll get used to it quickly. I have a huion 24", so its hard to keep the keyboard around such big monitor.
Hi d4nreis, we love the micro , it works on CSP , we use to use the tabmate. The Micro is super customizable with different profiles. Make sure you disable sleep ,little tip. have fun and a great art day.
@@mosscharmly as I'm brasilian I've never even considered the tabmate, too expensive here. I'm waiting for my micro now ~ hopefully it will arrive before the end of the month XD aliexpress taking its sweet time. Thanks for the tip! Will remember
@@mosscharmly Hi there! Mine arrived today! Already set it up, and already sent some feedback to 8bit to see if they can make the controller compatible with the ultimate software on pc. Would make things easier, not having to go back and forth between android and pc. But it was fairly easy to set up! The most difficult part was deciding which shortcuts to put on there, even found ones that I didn't know existed because I didn't need them on the keyboard. Anyway, it's charging now, hope I won't take too long to adapt to it!
So idk if anyone has an answer but mine is a little funky. I think is can work but it has two weird issues that keep me from using it. 1) a button (usually the d-pad) seems to get stuck keep pressing. Now the button itself isn't staying down, it just registers like it is staying down when it's not. 2) seems to turn itself off. Not sure why this happens. I use windows 10 for my drawing and games. Does anyone know a way to fix it. I've tried updating and uninstalling and reinstalling
I have the exact same problem. Even when I enable sleep mode in the app, it still shuts off when I don't use it for five seconds and its a hassle to constantly have to turn it on before I can use a short cut. Have you found a solution yet? Because if there is no way to prevent it, I'm sending it back.
@@liamdepam so think it's a weird connection issue with the PC. I bought another one that had the two joysticks and stuff and tried again on my PC but I had a similar disconnecting issue. So out of curiosity I tried it on the switch. And not once did the controller turn off randomly it worked great. I found that for the PC, I had to keep the charger cord hooked into the PC and the controller while using it to keep it from turning off. Which then limits how much I could move around with it. So u may need to get a cord that's a bit longer to use it without the weird turn off. It may also just be a good idea to get the other one I was talking about as the application to use it was much easier to mess with them the one for the controller in this video. Instead of the 8bitdo soft ware, I used keytojoy with the other bigger one with the double joysticks and it was very smooth in use. But yeah apparently it's a connection between PC and the controller. (I can't use Bluetooth headphones for my PC as for some weird reason the audio gets messed up. So that's what this theory is based on. Poor connection in the PC/controller) If u need anything to be clarified let me know
@@knightroartz3846 Thanks for replying! What I found online is that you cannot unable sleep mode and that it's actually sleep mode no matter what you pair it up with, unless you hook it up by cable. Not great considering what I intended to use it for, so I'm most likely sending it back :(

Hi bringitlite8065. We're glad we could help. The Micro is really great. It's now our preferred remote.
Great video! You convinced me on getting one for myself !😊
WE love them. A new digital necessity for us.

This is so helpful, thank you!
Happy to help.
Does it works with Procreate on Ipad?
Yes, as long as you set up the key commands correctly it should. I believe there are keypads made for procreate that work the same way.
Late to the party, but will you share your set up for CSP too?
Hello alvaakemi2752, We have thought about doing a video for CSP but we have bin using Krita so much it went to the back of the Q. Som day for sure.

@@knightroartz3846 update, if the problem is sleep mode it helps to put the latest update on the controller and enable the sleepmode in the app!
