That anticipation drop on barrel at 7:34 and each misfire shot after by you and other fella is frustrating but sometimes a good reminder that we are anticipating on the shot at times. Good reminder for me going into the TN opener this Saturday! I am soaking up ALL the content!

Beauty hunt! When my Carhartt bibs got a bit older and seemed the water resistance was going away, I sprayed them with a shoe/boot waterproofing spray and it worked awesome! I do it once a year now and never looked back!

I’ve used a weed sprayer to frost blinds. When it’s cold it works, but after every shoot you gotta re spray
Where are your snow covers for your layout blinds?
I've also used a queen size white sheet and laid it over the top of me for winter shooting.
The white sheet trick works pretty good.

Spray with water, and leave your blinds out over night. Paper towel strips in the stubble straps helps too

Great hunt! Nice to see that you mange to shoot the geese even though you stuck out with the blinds 😅. In general I was wondering if you tried setting up the decoys in a J formation, so you guide the birds and control the where the land? Keep pushing towards 100k. Love your videos!
I will for lessers but not typically for big Canadas. The only reason they didn’t want to center up is because they were trying to land away from the blinds.
Get a pump sprayer. Fill it with water. Spray brushed blinds. Water will freeze , repeat a couple times it will match much better and costs less

Hey what is your technique for wing shooting? Do you put your bead right on the bird, match the speed of bird and then pull forward to get a lead and shoot or do you put the lead on the bird then match the speed of the bird and pull the trigger

I make what I can out of this South Carolina duck hunting but I feel like I do well . Got into some real last year like no other hunt I’ve had down here . Going to try and catch some on video if we have them again like we did . Some good diver hunts here and there

What layout blinds do you use
20 lb bag of white flour works..snow in a can also just expensive for how many you would need.. you hunt long enough that happens for sure big yellow blob the pairs and singles usually decoy but larger groups sure don’t as a rule… cheaper that fake snow and environment friendly for sure!

@ I have used it before works well but if frost gets a bit wet it sticks makes a mess out of everything. Have a bit extra during the hunt because when you go pick up birds you will track it away. Get a large spice bottle to shake it out. Applies great that way or a large sidewalk salt applicator like a 5 lb shaker usually find them in a coop or peavy mart in a larger center..way cheaper than fake snow & environment friendly if farmer asks questions…
Try spray bottles full of water on those cold mornings will help frost up faster
