Just to add a bit of info. If you take and put a coat of vaseline on each of the bearings, they will hold themselves in place while you drop the sprague in. The vaseline will disolve as it is a petroleum base and will not hurt anything..

How long did this take you? From the moment you started tearing down to moment you re assembled ?

And that is why ya gotta do your own work! Why pay someone to leave parts layin' around in your diiferential...I can do that on my own!

I have a 06 sportsman 700 efi I'm having trouble with. If I put in 2wd it will travel fine for a while and all of a sudden the front end will lock up, put it back in awd and it's good to go. Do you think the cage is the problem?

How was the return spring suppose to lay in there

I have a leak at the front differential by the front pron shaft at the differential ...how can i replace or repair this issue please help!!!!

what is the purpose of the u shaped coper piece? everything install. can hear and see magnet grab. but the spindles wont turn. are you supposed to adjust the locktighted set screw to put pressure on the u shape copper piece???

+TheRsti Make sure your Armature plate is dropped down on the ring gear grooves, if it doesn't you wont be able to turn the shaft once you tighten the cover.
