Actually, in this one scenario, maybe Derek SHOULDN'T have voted money for Expropriate. That would've allowed him to keep Mogis, and Andrew would've lost at the upkeep of the second extra turn unless he removed Mogis or sacrificed creatures.
This made me remember a game i played where there were 2 Purphoros, Mogis and i was playing Mayael and jokingly said "boy it would be nice if i play Gisela"... i top decked Gisela that turn and used... it was the most painful non combo upkeep i have seen with 18 damage done.

I have a scenario that needs explained. So I'm using Araumi and I encore Archfiend of Despair against three opponents, no blocks. How much damage is done?
A metric crap ton. Each trigger would see the life lost from the previous one. So each person takes 6. First trigger resolves, they take another 6. Second resolves, they take another 12. Last resolves, they take another 24. So assuming no blocks or other shenanigans, each opponent takes 48.
So, each player takes 6, and then there are 3 triggers at end step, 1 per archfiend. The first to resolve sees 6 damage from combat to each opponent, so they each lose 6 more. This makes 12 for the second archfiend trigger, because it sees the life loss from the first archfiend's trigger when it goes to resolve, which in turn makes 24 for the third. Total is 48 life loss to each opponent. It's 6 x 2 x 2 x 2.
Kadena is probably one of the funniest commander I have ever played, also she's quite powerful. You should really built her. I don't understand why phage is in the deck but I guess that's one of reasons why EDH is so beautiful
The 5 color I think can lower the cost of the type of creature it becomes by all color so he would have said avatar and all avatar creatures are cheaper to cast
I know it doesn't really matter, but playing Bayou then using Nissa's ability to untap it and turn it into a creature would prevent it from attacking because it had summoning sickness since it entered that turn. Obviously he could've used a different land, but that's what I saw. Also, as others stated, Hour of Devastation should've killed Ugin which would've changed the game.

@@DarkEinherjar I feel like avatars do have a lot of creatures, like the deuses and stuff like that, problem is that they aren't synergystic they do stuff more for the colors they're in, same with the gods as well, they need devotion but if you're running all different colored gods that's gonna be hard, plus they do things suited to their colors, honestly the best tribes I feel would be elementals or humans

I'm not entirely sure on this but I don't think the Ugin token is considered a face-down creature. The card underneath is exiled face-down but the Spirit token doesn't mention face-down creatures anywhere.
A little sad that my boy Mogis was cheated out of a win by an illegal Ugin sticking around when it should have died and some missing damage off the Taunter trigger.

Ya he’s life total was low should have let him just slowly die to the trigger or just let him sack some creatures

He probably has a way to morph her then surprise his opponent by unmorphing her in combat
She can be manifested on the battlefield and turned face up by effects like Ixidor's, thus bypassing her ETB trigger.

Nissa's ability actually gives the land she animates haste, but you are entirely correct about the Ugin play.

No, because Ugin doesn't actually create a face-down creature. I think that Ugin just exiles the top card face down, but creates a normal 2/2 spirit.
