I bought your sheet music and learned this on my new lyon and healy 36 string troubadour. It's such lovely and satisfying piece. Thank you!
This is the second song that my teacher taught me. Hard to believe it was only written in the 1970s! You have a very pretty arrangement of it!
I agree, it sounds like it could be a traditional tune from long ago! It's such a timeless piece :) --Carrie💕
Very talented. Lovely music, Lovely You.
You played this so beautifully ❤
Thank you for your kind words!! --Carrie♥
Oh this is a beautiful tune, one of my faves
I actually wasn't familiar with it until recently, but it's now one of my favorite pieces! 😍 --Carrie

Thank you, Connie! ♥--Carrie
Beautiful arrangement! I'll have to put this on my "Harp Music Bucket List!" 😊 Yes, I would love to go to Ireland someday. But my husband and I did recently tick off one Bucket List item: The Grand Canyon. Amazing!
Hi Shannon, can't wait for you to learn this one! That's so neat that you went to The Grand Canyon. I visited when I was younger, but I would love to go back someday! I think I would have a much deeper appreciation for it now that I'm older 😃 --Carrie
Just beautiful. Love it.
This arrangement is so gorgeous, as is your playing, and I was so happy to see it, I suggested this song a few times because it's one of my favorites. Looking forward to learning it ❤
Your suggestions paid off!😍 I hope you enjoy learning it♥ --Carrie
Just bought this beautiful arrangement, Carrie! Going to start ASAP 😊 I play it already so hopefully I'll fly through it. My left hand is very simple so looking forward to a fancy one with grace notes. You play it beautifully 😍 If you ever come to Ireland please look me up and we could have a 'rambling house ' at our home and have the walls ringing 🎶 ♥
Hi Naomi, I hope you enjoy this arrangement! The grace notes are so fun to play :) I will definitely let you know when I come to Ireland! It'd be so fun to have a little harp get-together♥ --Carrie
@@LearningtheHarpI absolutely loved learning this, Carrie. It's full of beautiful surprises. Are you playing slightly slower than on the course? If you are I love it, I find it more relaxing to play😊 Thank you, you play this beautifully 😍 ❤
What a lovely arrangement! Just beautiful! About 8 months ago I wanted to learn this touching song, but there were only a few arrangements and I didn’t feel capable of learning them. My teacher and I found a version by Deborah Dahl Shanks, and, despite interruptions, I have been making good progress on it. Thanks to that progress, I would now love to learn your arrangement, and I can’t wait to be able to play it. Thank you so much!
Hi Deedee! We have 2 levels to choose from, a late-beginner and mid-intermediate version that you can find in the description of this video😃I know that you are more than capable of learning this lovely piece! Enjoy the process --Carrie♥
Are these nylon strings or gut. Very Beautiful
I’m pretty sure they’re nylon. 😊
Melancholic ❤
It was hearing this song years ago that convinced me I wanted to learn to play this incredible instrument. Is the arrangement yours or can it be found somewhere? I'd love to add to the simpler version I have. Beautiful!
Hi Donna, that's so neat to hear! This is one of our new Learning the Harp arrangements :) you can find links to the sheet music in the description of this video! We have a late-beginner and mid-intermediate level to choose from😃--Carrie💕
