Very informative for those who leave for the hot months of summer. Lots of good tips. Unplugging unused items is important. Like your dryer and microwave. In case of a power surge from a lightning hit.
Thank you so much for covering this. We are here for the first time setting up our part time residence and lists have been cruicial, but this lady's suggestions include things that I hadn't thought about. We're going to be more like snow flakes than snow birds, but we can do many of these things too. I like the suggestion about the shoes and the shorts too because some clothing in leaving and some are coming back to Virginia. Virginia does get about as hot as the Villages in the summer, just for a shorter time.
Good video as they must have an older house as with a tankless water heater one button you turn it off. You should not wrap your toilets and use tape as that creates mold and no critters!
The Villages is known as America’s friendliest home town, so hopefully you’d have plenty of neighbors that could alert you. The Villages also has community watch and they have ambassadors that drive every single street 2 times per day. Mostly they are looking for things out of the ordinary. We have a neighbor that didn’t get his newspaper for two days (from the driveway), so they stopped and knocked on his door to make sure he was okay. You could also hire a property manager if you wanted. Thanks for asking!

Ha! Probably won’t help you on slopes. 👍
Great job Sheila and @ShannonLeeSanford!!
Thanks, honey. 😁
Wonderful info! I wanted to let you know that there is a repeating clicking ringing undertone/overlay noise on the video.
Thank you!!

Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this information.
You are welcome!
Who watches your home when away, so squatters or drug dealers don't move in?
If you have no family nearby and don't have good neighbors
