Not insane at all!! Going thru this with an 8 week old german shep that if i cannot get tonkeep food nd water down theybsaid inshould put him down. If i hadnt come across your videos id be lost!

Ill say I know what you mean when you say scared and worried. Ive been there . its so terrifying and that feeling of helplessness as they look to you for help with those sick exhausted eyes of distress while they heave then try to catch some air panicking as you try to help calm them . ITS THE ABSOLUTE WORST IF YOU AT ALL LOVE THEM LIKE THEY LOVE YOU...Im glad to see your little guy is well and theres proof of hope. My little guy "Mug" on account of his expression fillled, funny ,wrinkled up, goofy almost cartoonish looking ugly handsome great Shapei face was born with a deformed trachea so this diagnosis of ME was harder than usual to figure out.I love the little dude more than I can express. It was pretty hard for me just to walk in the door at one point because when he sees me after not seeing me for all of 10 minutes he gets excited like its a Long time reunion where he goes crazy playful just to put his self in a place thats life threatening before I found out what was causing all this. I thought I was the only one out there loved my dog as I do. My wife seems to think theres more of a bond between me and the dog than me and her! The other morning when she woke me up on the couch cause she was mad and wouldnt let me in the room that night maybe its because he doesnt ever push me away like she does.. Mind you the dog was curled up on top of my head like my face was his bed so I Don t know if she even heard me

My rottweiler Dre was just recently diagnosed with Mega E ( still waiting on the thyroid test results also ) so I just learned about the Bailey Chair today. I found him running loose in Jan of 2020 in a nearby park and now he's mine and I'm in love . :) These videos are very helpful. I will try to find videos on what people use for meatballs. I did make some for the first time last week but went back to kibble because i was lazy and didn't understand fully about Mega E. I will order a chair and learn more about the diet part.
Thank you so much for your videos, Keith! My chihuahua Peanut is a rescue so I don't know much of her history. She was diagnosed in June and I have been at my wit's end figuring this out. She was only 10.5 lbs and has lost an entire pound of that since she started the regurgitation in May. So your upbeat and hopeful videos have been very helpful in keeping my spirits up. When you said you guys cried with your diagnosis, I knew EXACTLY how you felt. I was lucky in a way because my vet took xrays and knew what it was immediately, but I haven't known how to help her! Your pegboard DIY chair is amazing! My grown grandson is here visiting; he got the materials and whipped one out for me in just a few hours! I just have to do the finishing touches for Peanut to start recovering some of her lost ground. Your advice and especially your attitude are so very appreciated!!

Ty soo much for ur videos.... My vet recommended a $10,000 operation and couldn't guarantee it would work, or put my boy down. I started doing research and found ppl like u and bailey chairs. I love my dog, he's only 1 yr old I'm not putting him down. Plus it's common sense if the food won't go down let gravity do it. Some vets are money hungry and have no empathy.
