I've never tried swiss merengue buttercream. I wonder how the taste differs. There is so much frosting on these cakes, I keep thinking they need a frosting recipe that isn't too cloyingly sweet. I love how your cake turned out! Thanks for sharing =)
Swiss meringue buttercream is really good and not too sweet! I recommend making the buttercream the day before and put it in the fridge and when its time to frost you can let it come to room temp and whip it up again before you color it. The buttercream tastes sooo much better the next day 😁😁
These styles of cake are Korean when it first showed up Korean people was the ones who designed it first but then it got global it’s vintage, but Korean people who decided to name it that way

This actually legit made me tear up. I tried decorating my first cake today and made the mistake of using store bought Whipping cream to ice it. As you can imagine, the whipped cream was a MESS and melted right off. My mom was absolutely disappointed in me and told me to just leave the cake and that she'll pour chocolate over it to cover up the mess I'd made. 😔 It was supposed to be a heart shaped hello kitty cake for my little sister so she won't throw a tantrum during my birthday party tomorrow. I saw this video and it actually gave me hope to continue and that things can work out in the end! I'll wake up early and buy the ingredients to make buttercream and try to remove the whipped cream and save the cake! 😊

Liked the cake and your comments in the end about it's okay if it takes hours. With me something is taking time but will be worth it in the end and i just keep my focus in God and take one day at a time

These aren’t Korean they’re britishhh idk about the heart shape though but the decorating style is British so it’s not a Korean vintage cake it’s a British vintage cake popular in Korea😁
these cakes are european, not specifically british. I can understand youre irritated by the title but i dont think its that deep, koreans & east asia are very influenced by european culture no need to be upset
