Custom Jazwares Halo Master Chief

In this video I do some custom work to my Jazwares Halo Master Chief action figure. In my opinion this is a great Master Chief fig with tremendous details at the price point. A little wash and some dry brushing really made this guy stand out even more.

Didn't you cover the black paint with something else so it wouldn't come off over time? Nice work btw

Thank you and yes I usually do a matte coat to start with, but I used to do that off camera, outside. After painting and weathering I sometimes finish with a top coat if needed.

It's Testors Black Acrylic Wash, covers really well.

I'm sorry I don't do commissions but the process is pretty simple with few paints needed.

What did you use to remove the excess?
i'm planning to do the same with the 12" figure, i'm also try to paint the visor with golden spray

I only used a small amount Tamiya X-20A thinner and dry cotton swabs. Rinse and repeat til it does the job. I wish I would've done the visor, really regret that. Good luck on your 12" version!

With the Testers metallics I usually don't when I do dry brushing.
