Morfydd und Sam have a great chemistry and seem to be very in to their characters and also Tolkien (I know that Adar doesn't exist in the books etc etc, calm down!). And Sam could read an instruction text or whatever with that voice and I would listen all day long... ❤
@@MONSTERDT2112 take a look at "The Stranger" keep in mind LOTR has been mainstream culture now for 20 some years. its been verified that the costume designer is the same from the films, so the same guy wearing Gandalf's robes is indeed, Gandalf. yet we are 1.5 seasons in, and he's still called "The Stranger." It's terrible expositioin and insulting to the audience
i'm really loving this adaptation, especially the storylines for Galadriel, Sauron and Elrond. The fact that Tom Bombadil and Goldberry are in Rhun, there's an Istari who's gone dark amassing power there and that we get to see the Entwives is amazing!
i think the stranger is gandalf lol the halfling said something by the fire about a wooden stick being gand stick or something.. he holds a stick equals gandolf i solved it..
@nex-ex5100 right but the movies were awesome the series are not, except for the visuals but it´s very politicizing, it tries to explain things too much destroying the mystery by not leaving them open. The dialog is very bad, forcefully written. For me it´s a 4 out of 10. Peter Jackson movies a 9.5 out of 10.
@@rodrigoconstantino Sauron wasnt a massive flaming eye in the books. Id say thats a far more egregious bastardization of the lore than introducing Gandalf a little early.
@@deathswitch2404it was the film's way of showing his spirit manifesting in Barad Dur in an understandable way for the viewer. It was a change that worked fairly well for a cinematic adaption, the same can't be said for RoP. Gandalf arriving "a little early" completely defeats the point of his actual arrival to Middle Earth.

Because both sides can be guilty of this but I only see one side of the debate making the argument that the other doesn't know what their talking about. Most times I see people criticize the show, they throw out this baseless accusation that the people who like it don't know the actual lore or are not real Tolkien fans. It's such a arrogant statement that's supposed to make them seem smart but it genuinely makes them look like pathetic children telling others they can't play with their toy

They've already said they don't have all the rights so how do you want the show to be fully accurate? If you don't like it then don't watch it, you're old enough to stop crying on social media.

They had such a perfect casting of Tom Bombadil. In costume, Rory looks exactly how I envisioned Tom Bombadil from the Legendarium.

I don't believe you've read the Silmarillion. The people who are annoying aren't law experts but just fans of the books. The show is a travesty
