Seriously, bought that car a year ago and it blew me away. Perfect visivility inside, cheap to insure and drive and just so spaceous! Would buy it again any time!
I sold an off road motorbike to a guy and he arrived in one of these to pick it up. "Wheres you trailer, mate?" I wondered. Not required. We just lifted it into the back!
The AC system seems well designed. Pressure actuated variable stroke compressor, no evaporator temperature sensor, you get comfortable air that is neither too cold nor too hot compared to the ambient. I have one, i belong to the technically minded folks and there seems to be enough space under the footwell for the evaporator box to be removed without pulling the dash off. That's one of the things i like about this car. Also, remove the MAF, clean it with isopropyl alcohol/residue free contact cleaner, reinstall and it will ride like new. Fit a new pre-cat O2 sensor also and you will get much more mileage. With a dirty MAF the little Z10XE-Z12XE (i have the latter) gets really jerky.
I ve just bought a green 2001 model,953 cc 7 valve... It was love at 1st sight,no lec w or C L .....but heater is fab & it whizzes along nicely..... Well worth £350.....😘
The hight from inside afford you the smallest transporter ever. I drive a 2002 Suzuki wagon R+ special 1.3. I made a whole movement into new flat with this car. Loading stuff up to 0.90 m in height and in length up to 2.20 m. Washing machine standing upwards, no problem! A small fridge, upwards! Some furniture without screw them in pieces, no problem. Yes you have to drive more often but hey it makes fun with that car. And you will find a parking place with this. By the way it is shorter on length and widened than a renault twingo 1. Greetings from Germany
It manages on most counts for a town car, you can easily fit 4 adults in, it manages a little shopping and modest sized loads with the seats folded flat, is reasonably economical and just does what you want it to do without fuss.
Very strange review. Maybe he's been spent too much time around Mr Paid by Ford (JC)? Reliable. Loads of space. Fun to drive. There is also a community feeling a reviewer probably wouldn't get as the cars are new at the time they drive them. We wave at each other, help each other out. Love our (surprisingly big) small and tall cars.
You will find the Headroom very useful when you come to moving home also if you need to move an old refrigerator to the tip. And it's economical to run.
In famiglia abbiamo avuto il 1,2 e abbiamo il 1,3 diesel. 2002/2007....2007/2024.elettricamente la migliore auto immaginabile, non ricordo che dal 2002, due auto, abbiano mai bruciato una lampadina. Inoltre prestazioni decenti consumi 16,5(1,2) 22(1,3d).
The space above your head goes right back to the rear ...which means when you drop the back seats its like a small van then you can load up more in the rear ...like i do ...frankly its great for that ..(what an idiot?) Its a tool not a GT sports car to use for everyday paractical purpose ...yes a box on wheels ...its not bad in fact its quite nippy in the urban field . Talk about un imaginative reviews ? Its cheap and practical ... not too many faults ..it corners quite well if you can drive ?
The dude It's to fit in with Japanese Kei Car rules, since this is a rebranded Suzuki WagonR. They have to be a certain dimension with an engine size limit for use in Japanese cities. They get cheaper tax and special parking spaces. Height isn't restricted.
Hammond is the wrong person to review this because he lost touch with feeling ordinary roads as ordinary people with ordinary jobs do. Although the steering seems vague at low speeds it is thrillingly direct on winding country roads or, indeed, across town if one is in a hurry. It actually does corners and not just bends but Hammond is either a track man or luxury car driver. More tech info would have been useful.
The main thing for me he doesn't get is the lovely high seat.. Maybe an older guy would understand better what we older folk look for in a car and what the car was actually sold to me for x no of years ago when I cared for my elderly mother. Now it's myself that appreciates the ease of getting in and out so just forget all that criticism of the extra head space ..there are tall people in this generation!! We're not all young midgets. !!😅
I think he does a very poor job of giving a review.. He's not the right guy for vauxhall to use and I'm really vexed it's been discontinued and replaced by a wee Viva..👎
From a hamster's perspective there is plenty of headroom, of course. But from my point of view (almost 2 metres in height) it should be perfectly fine... 😁

Hammond looks like a baby behind the wheel of Agila, that's just how spacious this car is on the inside

Very good tips.👍🏻
My first car, just brought it today. Did I make a mistake? I think not! It’s a really unique yet simple car!
My first too. Love it - visibility just can't be beaten
@Omaid Shokouri in little roundabouts it's scaring, but exciting at the same time

Just to add one bonus of tall interior is the ability to fold down the back seats and load it up with larger items.

I have an agila and being almost six and a half feet tall I REALLY love the head room. I’d have another agila anytime

Because you are so small Hamster :) Great wee car just bought the wife one and it is fantastic.
I've always liked the Suzuki Wagon R, but I didn't know there was a Vauxhall version. I actually like the design of it a bit more!

0:36 that is Clarkson space. You can't reach it, Hammond!

Just got a 2014 model for my first car. Done under 5000 miles for £3,000.
Old video I know, but I transported a cement mixer in my Agila :)))

It says Agila 1.2 on the back but then at the end it says the engine is the 1.0?
No character? It's sweeeet!
My wiper motor keeps blowing, any top tips to diagnose before I take it in
It’s an amazing car just got it
The Downside is bad with corner and uphill and if it’s icey you’re buggered
My nan has a 12 reg Vauxhall agila

Least you got a CD player I got a bloody cassette player
I prefer the SUZUKI WAGON R
Why do they make thin and tall cars?
Since when was being tall and thin a good thing for cars?

My mum thinks it looks like an invalid carriage

They look hideous lol
