Ellis flipped in the Fulton Country Georgia trial as well and that case has been shut down while the prosecutors own actions are reviewed by the Appellate Court system.
Although the people at Meidas Touch don't want to admit this, the legal system in the United States appears to be fundamentally broken.
Anything as serious as attempting to overturn a free and fair election should be top priority across the entire board. For the DoJ, the Courts and the judiciary.
But what we're seeing shows this is clearly not the case.

You can get a grand jury indictment with very little evidence but that evidence often times not enough evidence to get a conviction so must DA,s wait until they have more then enough evidence to arrest charge and get a conviction be patient Trump is not going anywhere unless he fless the country.

The judiciary in the United States has shown itself incapable of treating people all the same.
Even the corrupt judges (those on the Supreme Court and Trump loyalists like Aileen Cannon) have shown how far they're prepared to allow him to go.
The Supreme Court has done the unthinkable and ignored one of the most foundational principles of justice (that no one man is above the law) to give Trump the immunity he asked them for. The conservative majority have shown themselves to be unethical, morally bankrupt and completely devoid of any responsibility to the Constitution that they all swore an oath to both protect and serve.

They all need to be held accountable.
That's why they're backing and protecting him so fervently. So if either elected or he tries to use congress to install him and he takes office, they themselves won't be held accountable either.
Finally we may actually see him held accountable, about time.
But are we? Looking at most of the postings here I'm seeing people looking forward to Kamala Harris and Democrats winning the election. There really isn't much talk about the prosecutions and that leads me to wonder.
Have people really lost faith in the justice system in the US?
That it took so long to bring the prosecutions against anyone even near Trump was worrying (to say the least).
And I get all the arguments that the DoJ had a lot on its plate with all the Jan 6 Insurrectionists and getting as many of them behind bars as they could. I also understand the argument that the DoJ was going to rely on some of those in the lower ranks being able to provide them with information needed to go after the higher-ups in the plot to overthrow the election.
But none of that was at play when you look at the stolen documents case down in Florida.
That also took a hell of a long time to get going (considering Garland wasted a full year before appointing Jack Smith).
And then to get judge Aileen Cannon on this matter not once, but twice - Things certainly seemed as though someone was pulling the strings to ensure that Trump was going to be getting as much leeway as he needed, to not have this case heard before the election.
But the icing on the cake, the pièce de résistance if you will, has to be the corrupt Supreme Court heavily leaning on the scales of justice, giving Trump the immunity that he was telling them he wanted and expected.
I honestly think that as long as Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch and Roberts remain on the Supreme Court, there can be no real justice in the United States.
And I also think that the people of America are being very poorly served by Merrick Garland in his delay in serving any sitting or past Republican members for the parts they played in assisting Trump trying to overturn a free and fair election. He's basically allowed them to remain, and act as spoilers against every active case that was looking at Trump. These people were abusing their positions to actively obstruct the Department of Justice from being able to do its job (at both Federal and State levels) and faced zero repercussions.

I thought that law was about finding the truth and punish accordingly, no matter who stands before madam justice.

It makes lots of sense to me for the Arizona Attorney General to prosecute the Arizona people for this crime, and leave it to Jack Smith to do his Fed thing to go after the people at the Fed level. That Georgia prosecution has turned into a circus, and hopefully Fanni Willis will get it done, eventually.
