The wifi dependency is frustrating. I can't register my TV on my iPhone because it's connected to my router using a LAN cable
I have the same issue. This app sucks.
After I add my front washer manually it turns off its own wifi and I can't connect to it. It seems like an error.

My router has 5ghz and the thinq app says it is not compatible with the aircon.
