thanks for this greatly appreciated good work. can you do the event cg's too because somehow even though I dont have any problem with normal story cutscenes the event cg lagged so hard I had to switch to only jp voice no subtitle versions of old videos on yt and didnt understand some lines
Thank you, im trying to understand campain somehow but even as i have reccomended The computer requirements are still those cutscenes that lag terribly, It's torture for the eyes and ears to try to get anything out of it.
Both Commander and Kalina once a member of Griffin & Kryuger PMC in same sector, Kalina was logistic manager as well shop keeper in GFL1. During period between GFL1 and GFL2, Rossartist Government seeing G&K have too much influence for a PMC so they force PMC to be reconstructed and down scale to small PMC. This also cause many T-Doll to leave PMC or relocate to outer Zone like Yellow Zone, which Commander also leave and become bounty hunter while Kalina and former Co-CEO of G&K Kryuger switch to Non Military Administration Department in Rossartist Government
Commander and Kalina are pretty close. There was that one time Kalina got hit by Elid Infection and commander took on a risky mission to find a potential cure. The mission failed but apparently a Paradeus agent entered Kalina's room and cured her. Should also note that Kalina has a 'crush" on commander, stating that once they got their green passes, they should go retire somewhere together and was not amused when commander joked about kalina finding better pastures and had to apologize later. Should also note, they are close enough that they promised each other not to leave the other behind, and as you can see that promise got broken when commander left G&K I might get something wrong but thats what i heard
If you're heavy into lore and a good idea of what's happening: Yeah. Go for it if you want. In my honest opinion, The community surrounding GFL2 will help you understand and fill the gaps.. And the game does a good job at the story and catching you up and such. I'd say play GFL but if it's not your style and you'd prefer GFL2, Go for it. We ain't gonna judge. P.S. (GFL 1's story will be a helluva ride. Tread carefully.)
Very different gameplay But basic summary of 1 is that you work for a PMC and the girl from 25:22 is your assistant. You eh stopped a AI robot rebellion, got backstabbed, stopped some of plot/experiment that this super duper evil crazy mad scientist is doing, help 1's main girls revolve their personal issues and their problem with the evil scientist, and probably stopped WW4. You did all of that and yet you are still just a pawn in this 100D chess between the evil scientist and another manipulative evil guy and everything you did just ended up helping the maniuplative evil guy win his 100D chess and ended up creating a powerful NATO that basically controls the entire world. Your char said screw this, i am tired, i don't want to be in your 100D chess anymore, i quit. So your char basically lost contact with everyone from your PMC since technically all the t-dolls you get are PMC's worker. 10 years later ... GFL 2 starts.

Probably depends on how well GFL2 does in English speaking regions. Off memory, I’m pretty sure Arknights added a English dub post launch, so fingers crossed something similar happens here
