I love that family was part of episodes 7 & 8! It’s not just the miles but the smiles and memories. I’d love to see more of the family included. Having the grandparents along was a super bonus!
I have really enjoyed the stuff that you guys have been doing on Overlander. A little closer to reality for the majority of us that aren't going to travel over multiple continents any time soon. Great stuff.
It's such a treat to watch an intelligent, 'clean', loving family have fun and enjoy each others company. No cussing, partial nudity, undisciplined children, alcohol or drama, add in the great number of personalities you have, Toyota trucks, and the outdoors, and this is what i would consider great TV, and that shows more 'class' than anything hollywicked could ever produce.
If it matters I second what Mike Donner said. To me this episode was especially fun to watch. In large part because it was clean no stupidity.I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who appreciates the GOOD CLEAN content you produced.I just got done watching this with my wife and we both enjoyed it.
This is the best episode ever...at least in one catagory. Family! Having a big family I an still trying to learn how to do exploring more. Most overlanding is about guys going and not their family. Thanks XO!
Take aways from another awesome episode: The beautiful lab LOVES the water / All kids really need to be entertained is a big stick / The Weber Q grill has now been filmed overlanding / Talking about not having content actually makes for great content / The green coat on gramps is just awesome / The kids still get to wear Nike and Adidas / The Magpul logos on the hats keep getting bigger, albeit still cool (I'd wear one or one of the sweet XO hats) / Amazing that the whole family is involved in the experience. You are one blessed brother, Clay. Thank you for taking us along!!
I really liked how you showed what to do to keep your kids entertained. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “ I’m bored”. The suggestions you made are priceless. Thank you and keep up the great work.
ExpedtitionOverland team.... Thank you!!! So happy to have clean, fun, well thought out entertainment for me and my family. This was my favorite episode to date. Don't get me wrong, I have loved everything else and learned a ton, but this had a new element of "real life" added to it. Thanks for all you do and keep it up. #inspired
Thanks for the video, I drove from West Virginia to great falls to visit my son and grand kids . So relaxing to sit out with a cup of coffee and watch your vids.🤙
One of my favorite episode of overlander so far. Love trips with the family when the goal is just to have fun and spend time with friends and family. These are the best trips! Keep up the great content!
XO crew love all that you do and share! I’ve never been more Inspired to get my family out and make a lifetime of memories together. There’s always something else out there, never stop searching!
Hey Crew! Thank you for joining us again as we grab the fam and head on to the WABDR! We had tons of fun and if you get the chance, check out the trail for yourselves!
An awesome group of family and friends, Mr. Wills reminds me of my late grandfather. You guys have a great family dynamic and have a lot of class. I really enjoyed this video and look forward to the next one. Keep up the great content and safe travels to you all!
This truly the best video on UA-cam me as a Overlander I got into this cause I wanna create memories with my fam and for them to see the other side of this world not to always be stuck on cyberspace or tablets and phone.. amazing video and educational way to show people that they should get out there more with the family 👌👍🏼
Thanks XO....this is in my opinion, your best episode to date. The narration, content and videography were top notch. But the most important part was what you brought with you, family.
Thx again for another great episode, we are loving the Fam and friends trips! It adds so much more realistic content and makes “ Touring” that much more attainable and enjoyable. Can’t wait for the next one 👍
It was a pleasure running into the XO team (again); we were camped along the roadside when you drove by and at the washout, nice to see the team spot one another and give positive feedback, provided a good learning experience!
i've yet to watch the alaska or central america trips but i did watch the south america trip (amazeballs) and the overlander episodes. you all have absolutely been some of my inspiration over the last few years to get back out there. this episode with fam is by far the best one. kudos.
Let Ryder know, The berry he picked is called a gooseberry. Very edible and tastes like tomato but sweeter. I found those everywhere in the lava fields of central OR.
Lake Chelan! At the north end of the lake is Stehekin. You MUST visit! My Mom and Stepdad live up there. It’s a dream. :) visit the bakery! You won’t regret it.
Thanks fellas, ladies and kiddos! Really nice to see a family trip. Great filming Nate, love your film style. Gramps, great filming as well, your got rock steady hands! Your camera didn’t shake at all. Almost as if you had stabilization on ;-)
I’ve been watching you guys since day 1. I really look forward to everything that you do. I enjoy watching you grow. This episode was wonderful, I really enjoy doing these types of things with my family. Teaching them and learning new things along the way. I just want you guys to know how inspirational your channel is. Taking leaps and risk, researching before doing so, and living life to the fullest, all while putting safety and priorities first. Thank you and keep up the good content. If you ever want a tour through the deep dark swamps of Louisiana, get in touch with me. I’m set up and ready to go!
ExpeditionOverland great idea, we brought our dog for the first time out AF canyon to Heber today and he really got dusty. I will remember that next time. Thx 👍
looks like tons of serious fun. amazing trip! I wish europe wouldn‘t have 90% of tarmac and plenty of harsh (but silly!) restrictions when it comes to use of backroads ...
Love your series and not watching in order. This one hit home though with the family inclusion. Now you have me hooked. Congrats on your success and want more success with followers do even more family trips:-)
I love all the videos- especially with the family as that is my life. My only curious item is -- when was this filmed? I see a lot of adults in cold weather gear and kids in short sleeves. Perhaps a product placement method? Either way it's cool - just curious.
FREEDOM RANCH KY Definitely, I would really like to see some bighorn and goat hunting in the high country, especially from this group of family and friends. Their attitude and the way they relate to one another is awesome, the old fashioned family centered life I'm used to.
What was the name brand of the knife you had at the end of the episode? I really liked its shape. Keep up the good work. You all produce a great series.
Hey xoverland, love watching your series. Can i ask what mapping software that is on the ipad? I like the different colors for different days. Keep up the sweet vids.
I love that family was part of episodes 7 & 8! It’s not just the miles but the smiles and memories. I’d love to see more of the family included. Having the grandparents along was a super bonus!
I love the dynamic of having the kids with and Slowing down to focus on time spent together instead of miles.

the best content is the content that is not planned or scripted. Go with the flow content is far better and usually produces the greatest laughs

Well, that's a surprise! The guy in the center of the frame at 2:03 is a friend of mine from here on Vancouver Island 🤯
In on one, love these videos
Those flower B roll shots, hmmm wonder who that could be. 😂 awesome work!
Thanks for the content gang! Leaving in a week from Houston to the mountains of Colorado.

Awesome!
Clay, NATO strap, it'll change your life. Looks like a great trip as usual. Hopefully will cross paths with you and group at an event some year.
Great video always.jealous in the uk.
1. Good job respecting and honoring elders
2. What’s it like to overland with a dog that loves swimming?
We do our best to allow time for her to dry some, then we have a thin pad in the backseat where she stays with her muddy paws 😜- it mostly works...
ExpeditionOverland great idea, we brought our dog for the first time out AF canyon to Heber today and he really got dusty. I will remember that next time. Thx 👍
Nice first one to watch it
Always great videos!!
Thank you!
Saw my wife and I in the background a couple of times in the Rally segment.
looks like tons of serious fun. amazing trip! I wish europe wouldn‘t have 90% of tarmac and plenty of harsh (but silly!) restrictions when it comes to use of backroads ...

Really want to get involved with this
Trust, but verify!
Those are Salmon Berries. They’re delicious.
You guys need to show more offroad content!
Clay you should make another channel about hunting...
FREEDOM RANCH KY I second this!
FREEDOM RANCH KY
Definitely, I would really like to see some bighorn and goat hunting in the high country, especially from this group of family and friends. Their attitude and the way they relate to one another is awesome, the old fashioned family centered life I'm used to.
Have you considered taking the Idaho BDR?
What was the name brand of the knife you had at the end of the episode? I really liked its shape. Keep up the good work. You all produce a great series.
Family is content. No reason to go looking elsewhere for filler content when you can just aim the camera a the family and see what transpires.
How would a novice overlander know if an area is restricted air space in regards to drone use? Another excellent episode btw.
Hey xoverland, love watching your series. Can i ask what mapping software that is on the ipad? I like the different colors for different days. Keep up the sweet vids.
