That's what bothers me the most. The fact they're charging more, and giving less. Its all just BS, regardless of DDR5/ PCI5 MB's, that doesn't explain why DDR4 PCI gen 3/4 boards are also so much then. DDR4 boards should be dirt cheap.
Another great overview fams. After having an Aero motherboard for a while now I kinda dig the minimal design. Works well in a white case too. #RoadTo200K
Helo bro iam a youtuber and gamer so this motherboard is good for me I have confuse between Gigabyte z790 aero g ddr5 Asus Rog strix z790-e gaming wifi ddr5 Which is best for me
The reason they have a DP input that comes out the USB-C port is specifically for people with (Wacom) drawing tablets that have integrated displays. Illustrators, animators and designers/engineers can use the power of their GPU for their 3D models or graphics software whilst drawing or using other pen tools. So nothing more than combining video signal from powerful GPU over a single USB-C port to connect to a specific line of drawing tablet displays
One of them (under the Big Heatsink) is a 5.0 m2 sharing a lane with the PCIe slot for the graphics card. The rest are all 4.0 m2's, one of which also supports SATA. If you want full bandwidth for your GFX card, use one of the 4.0 slots for your M2, they all connect straight to the chipset and shouldn't appreciably affect read/write speed anyway. But, since this is a motherboard geared toward creators, you can sacrifice a bit of bandwidth at he graphics card to be able to manipulate data with the 5.0 specs, if you have a 5.0 M2 NVMe. It goes without saying, that you do NOT need heatsinks on your M2's! Cos the motherboard comes with some hefty heat dissipation shrouds for them.
It seems like a cut down “Vision” motherboard from the Z690 series 🤦🤦♀️. Cheaping out on the audio solution for this level of board is a bad mistake 🤦🙈🤦♀️.
Would a 10 gig Ethernet port just add unnecessary cost to the board? Is 2.5g not good enough for 99% considering the large cost of setting up a 10g network? I would imagine most would struggle to use up all that bandwidth.
Does the 10GB ethernet, I dont assume that impacts internet speeds vs 2.5g, So is it to transfer files over an ethernet network? Does the speeds of the ethernet impact NAS transfer?
I have the z690 aero D and tbh i think theyve cut down way too much for little added benefits. where is the 10gb lan, dropped a 3.2 usb port dropped the number of fan headers. for what really?
Why would any one up grade to Z 700 Series if uses the same Socket as the gen before, and it is the end of the Road of 1700 socket ?? Does not make any Sense. Nice video as always
Nice review and great b-roll! Are you willing to do a video-rundown on the BIOS for this board? Also, is the power connector from the front I/O cable from my case, plug into the 8-pin connector at the bottom-right, with the 8-most left pins within the black, plastic encasing? Lastly, the thin, little microphone is impossible to plug in to the board, at least for me, no matter how much pressing down I did. Either the head for where it plugs into on the board is too small or the microphone head that plugs into the board is too large. The sides are rather sharp too, so it's literally a pain in the finger to try and get it in lolz. Thanks!
@@Clement3121 I don't think it would be an issue unless the sound got louder over time. It was just a nuisance because it would have been the loudest thing in the room. The whine happened every time I used the PC so I returned it.

I can visually imagine all of them sitting around a poker table having this actual conversation.

Pretty sure I could count 5 m.2 slots on that motherboard

The gpu release button should be standard. It was one of the reasons I bought the Asus X670X Gene board.

@mrserv0n18 Yes it is exactly as you've guessed, otherwise even 2.5gb would be unnecessary for 99% of people.
I think the Vision naming scheme was better than this one for this Series of Gigabyte products

I like GB boards very much, except their rgb fusion is total crap. Idk, why they embarrassing so much with that.
Can you overview the msi mpg z790 edge?!
Trying to get some MSI boards but apparently 13th Gen is very popular and stock is low even for us
I second this. It’s the most interesting looking board to me.
@@GearSeekers There’s also a B650 Edge that’s slightly cut down from the Z790.
new Mobo prices are a J0KE...$350..$550...wut the hell let's sell for $999...LM@0
Motherboard manufacturers must have attended an Nvidia seminar on pricing.
We need more white motherboards, I only want this becuase it fits in with the white theme of my build, Im not a content creator :)
Exactly why I bought it. : D
Strange that DP - IN ... anyway, thanks for showing and commenting it!

5g is not even available in my city. will probably be 10 years before 10g is even ready
Had this board. Bad VRM coil noise. Returned it.
Is this bad long term? I think i have this like once for 5 sec during the first 5 min after turning the pc not sure where it comes from.

When is the full review of this board ??
Never
After a lot of serarching i choosed the asus prime z790 a and im really happy.
Does this support 14th gen intel?
Awesome review. So being for creators. Does that mean it is bad at gaming?
No
Spoiler alert we don't want anything to come with our motherboards it's all a bunch of junk that never gets used
another cool over view video
Lmao @ the end. For the algo
the new creator boards seem to be disappointing each generation. so happy i got the b550 vision d-p for cheap on a sale.
