- Today I listen to some Eminem. I love Eminem but I never went deep diving into his albums. Someone mentioned if I like horror I should check out more Relapse, and especially this song. So here we are!
And Gen Z wants to cancel Eminem over "Love the way you lie"

A couple of random kids on tiktok make dumb takes about eminem. The internet: OMG GeN Z WANTZ TO KANCEL EMINEM! WHAT A STUPID BUNCH OF SNOWFLAKES!!! please gain some perspective before dropping dumb generalizations about entire generations

This song is just drenched with genius. The word play, the rhyme scheme, the flow, the literal word play with wild and mild, the beat with the heartbeat, and to top it off the story with the perspective of a killer. As a criminologist understanding the psyche of some of the people he mentioned in the song is what I do. Not only does he have the graphic ways people get murdered but he does an excellent job at playing the part. How he struggles with himself to not kill but can't help himself is exactly what happens to a lot of the notorious serial killers. It's a secret they can't tell anybody because they enjoy doing evil things. Eminem further exposes his genius by his understanding of human psychology blended into his art. He's obviously a fan of learning about serial killers and how and why they do the things they do. This is why I'm astonished when anyone says he peeked at Marshall Mathers LP or that he's not even in the top 10 of best rappers of all time. This song alone with the amount of skill and creativity trounces 90% of rapper resumes imo and this isn't even his in his top 5 ever made. Rap God title is deserved because he earned it with his hard work and sacrifice. But I guess I'm a STAN for saying this and not because I appreciate genius when I see it, so just disregard everything I said.
Did u see that he actually match Mozards song with different verses? Same excat flow with Mozards song but different ideals. And one of Mozards songs collapses right with Em´s. I give u a clue, the first 2 verses......

This whole album is masterpiece imo, so underrated
Eminem describes a series of rape fantasies, the dark side, and mutilation of women. Notice how beginning with the third line of second verse, he rhymes fourteen entire lines together. Take any two lines after that and they’ll rhyme almost perfectly.🐐(Btw Relapse is a concept album which means you gotta listen to the whole album to really get the vibe and he’s in the mind of a serial killer,and that’s the point of this track/album it’s suppose to be unsettling and creepy it’s a horror hardcore hip hop concept album)
Cool verse, but notice how many times he rhymes the same words though throughout the second verse. Simple words like "me" "he" "she" "I" etc are repeated a whooole lot to fluff up the scheme. the third verse has more impressive & condensed rhyming. The first roughly 12 bars of the third verse are more impressive, rhyme structure wise, than the entire second verse imo.
Actually all these references are metaphors for killing other rappers and rhymes.
A lot of people are to fragile to place themselves in the mind/ train of thought of a disturbed person. To me music can be like a spoken word horror story. Dope reaction

@@KellysKornerofNightmares I think it started from his battle rap days to give him creative ideas in order to kill other MC's, then he kept doing it for shock value, in the early days with Dr Dre it was like free advertising if he could piss off groups like the PMRC, cuz they would get all offended and having Tipper Gore as part of it, the wife of the then Vice President Al Gore, pretty much guaranteed they could show up in news media condemning it and any other music that offended them, which only made the kids want to hear more

@@yesmyninja6850 totally agree!!! The whole Relapse(Refill) album is such a cohesive and smooth listen, not only flow/sonically-wise, but as a whole story. The flows and rhyming do be sick and kinda never have been quite like that ever since

Relapse was Eminem trying to rap again after he overdosed this was when he was sober so he was on a different type of vibe which why subject matter was horror type album he later regretted this album to this date cause of the backlash from the accent he made to one of his darkest times in his life
