Now that I know this, I find it tempting to add a 150Hz low-cut on the sides on the master bus of all my tracks from now on, because why not? Are there instances where this should not be done really? (Talking about pop songs here, not some crazy experimental stuff)
You can EQ the mid and the side using just one instance of the plugin in Logic. Add the EQ as dual mono rather than stereo. Next to the L and R buttons there is a settings button; click that, and you can then set the plugin mode to Mid/Side. Now you can flip between Mid and Side using the M and S buttons.
(This works with any plugin, not just Logic's native FX.)
That’s great to know! Thanks for the comment!
@@HomeRecordingNetwork You're welcome! It's kinda hidden in there, not a lot of people realize this.
Now if Apple would just as input / output gain and a mix control to the plugin "frame" (for those plugins that don't offer it themselves)!
@@brianpylant4617 lol I agree!
Great Vid. Thanks. I tried to do this but why in my Logic I have no option for the "processing" (bottom left ). I have only Analyzer and Q-Couple, and there's no option for processing. I run Logic 10.7.4. Anyone know?
Is it a mono track?
YES
Nice one big bro
Thanks!
