  • Today I'm answering your crochet questions. If you're looking for crochet help online, I'm your gal! I'm here to help so I will be creating these crochet Q&A sessions once a month or so. A lot of these questions are some of my most asked questions. Others are some general questions about learning to crochet.
    Here are the questions I answered inside the video:
    - What makes me so slow at crocheting?
    - Any tips on how to design patterns?
    - Do you have any tips for crocheting faster?
    - What is your go-to crocheted gift?
    - Why do I hate the magic circle so much?
    - For crochet newbies, how long after should they make it a business?
    - Which loop do you work into for the foundation chain?
    - How do I keep my edges straight?
    - Do you have tips for weaving in ends so they don't stick out?

    Fantastic video. Learning so much from you.
    I do have a request or if you could point me in the right direction I'd be so grateful.
    There are soooooo many different stitches, terminology & crochet related stuff, could list everything somewhere or do a video which shows every single stitch (obviously if there's are hundreds then ignore this request but if it's doable, lol) so us beginners know what they look like & also know the names so we can choose our favourites.
    Wouldn't even know where to begin looking for all the different ones & if I did find a blog or a video, it may not have them all.
    Know you're super busy with life stuff atm & I'm guessing this might be a big request so any help would be amazing & in your own time obviously. 🥰

    • @SigoniMacaroni
      @SigoniMacaroni  2 роки тому

      I think that's a great idea and I can definitely start putting some of those together. But there really are HUNDREDS of stitches out there! My favorite place to find new stitches is inside stitch dictionaries. This one is my favorite: amzn.to/3tnR1fZ (aff link)

    I had a stroke and am trying to strengthen my right hand. Working on an unfinished afghan with 2 strands of your.one strands keeps falling off my hook. Using m/n is it too big or too small. Afghan was started before stroke. Help

    • @SigoniMacaroni
      @SigoniMacaroni  2 роки тому

      Hi Joan I’m so sorry to hear that. Unfortunately there’s not much I can help with not knowing exactly what’s going on. If you’re having trouble keeping a consistent tension, you might want to try a tension regulator. There are regulators you can buy or make. If you’re using two strands of medium weight yarn then those hooks might be too big but it depends on your personal tension. It also helps me to put a pillow under my arms while I crochet. You can see if that helps. However I don’t have personal experience with this so I’m so sorry that I’m not much help. You may be able to Google some ideas and see if you can find something that will help.
