Comp stands for Compaction. Typically Embryos after Day 3 ( 6 to 8 cells or more) start compacting, this means that the cell boundaries fuse and one can no longer differentiate and count cells. Compaction is a sign that embryos have crossed the Zygote Genome Activation stage and are progressing to blastulation. It's a good sign if seen post Day 3 and Day 4.
