Couldn’t help but chuckle when you looked back at the camera after another lost fish. Thanks for keeping it real and sharing the true sport and fun of fishing. I really enjoy your channel.
I like you used the nightcrawler color in the cloudy rainy day, in my experience if smaller hooks used is better while stock trout are not big enough, but I consider you and Jordan as my teacher always. Thanks marlin.
XO genesis I’m new to woodinville and haven’t tried this method yet. Any place in particular you’d recommend checking out. If you’d rather not share that’s cool.
I use a free sliding jigged worm through a tiny top-water lure, that acts as an attractant itself. It helps the bottom worm with a straight up and down motion and appropriately twitches the lure also. I've had some excellent artificial worm fishing with it.
Used these a couple weekends ago. Drifted under a float and rigged it exactly like that only wacky. It worked real good. Thanks for the vids guys. Always enjoy. And set aside an XL hoodie for me will ya?!
BG Lake. Loved that place since I was a kid. Lot of fun fishing and good time with the family. Cool to think I've caught fish from the same lake as you guys. Thanks for the tips and good luck on your future trips.
Awesome video yet again. Marlin your one dedicated ombré. You never give up and you never lose the passion.. i would like to see you do a show just on line and leaders, what, why and when .. still a fan of Pline or have you found something you like better.?
You need to either run the worm higher, trim the worm tail or J hook the tail back to the hook. The fish are grabbing the just the tail for those nibbles.
Oh yea I have a bunch of those bobbers - I get them when people don't check their line and they break off....I use the tough bubble that you had a video for a while back - had a blast for trout in 2020
What up?! Today i caught my 1st Longnose Gar on shrimp! Tricky buggers, mouth so hard hook doesn't set so u have to keep tension until near shore, then flip them out quick.
I know you guys usually use boats but should do some shore fishin ones here and there or create another channel that you have someone do for you so you get the views and whatnot. Thanks for the tips and videos do shoot and giveaways. Tight lines
You need to try blackbirds sabertooth hooks I know that you are in with mustad and they are good strong hooks but the blackbirds are so much sharper and just as quality but more expensive and harder to find but I find I miss fewer fish
i like red gulp worms under a float for stocked trout size 8 raven wide gaps get me better hook sets ...but i also love throwing vibrax spinners 2 or 3's for stocked trout aswell good episode guys gotta have lil things to keep us busy while we are not catching steelies!!
I use pretty much the same setup for river fishing in slower currents, very effective, even for big Steelhead. Caught a 14lber last winter on the pink one, big Buck in full out spawn colors and kiped jaw, looked like a salmon.
Honestly love to use one with a piece of nightcrawler on the creeks. Size 6 hook, a little split shot about a foot up, and maybe a little scent on the artificial if I'm feeling fancy. Let that baby just drift naturally down, got me a nice 16" & 19" cutty on a little creek by my work last week.
Awesome video ! Was wondering, so I saw a video where you guys used a real nightcrawler with a marshmallow tipped hook. Was wondering if it would worke the same with the powerworms ? I love your channel.
Best fishing channel!!! Love all of your videos. Do you know if all of theese tecnuniques will work in all waters. I mean somewhere like in Switzerland? Grüess us de Schwiiz!
Just caught 20 at a lake in AZ with bubble gum and white mice tails. The orange and yellow mice tails caught zero. Im going to keep a few of these packs in my tackle box from now on!
Random etiquette fact. Don't combat plunk fish with braided line. It heats up and burns everyone's mono and if you tangle they'll cut your line faster than you've ever hit the like button.😁🐟
When the trout miss so many time the hook, I will use a shorter lure or chop off a portion of that worm. That will bring your hook closer to the end of the lure.
My family has been getting 24 inch Rainbow trout out of Black Lake in Ilwaco Washington. You should check it out, If you see an old fart named Don, that's my Grandpa.
What trout fishing videos do you want us to make next?! 🤔🐟
Should do more "trout" videos about ocean run trout lol more steelhead vids..
Sea run Cutthroat Trout
How much pro cure do you guys use? A video on trout sauce would be cool
Deep lake trout
A vid on explaining your process to determine what to use on a lake would be awesome 🎣
Couldn’t help but chuckle when you looked back at the camera after another lost fish. Thanks for keeping it real and sharing the true sport and fun of fishing. I really enjoy your channel.
I've had success rigging them up with a drop shot. It's pretty fun.
Catching trout in the river videos please!?
I like you used the nightcrawler color in the cloudy rainy day, in my experience if smaller hooks used is better while stock trout are not big enough, but I consider you and Jordan as my teacher always.
Thanks marlin.
Still waiting to see one of yall drop shot them...its a killer, and would work really well on Jordan's trout pond....lol
I drop shot them and absolutely kill it at my fishing club
Fished a lot of lakes and rivers in Washington and a lot of bank fishing from Puget sound but never use these I'm excited
I can confirm that they work. I use them in Woodinville
XO genesis I’m new to woodinville and haven’t tried this method yet. Any place in particular you’d recommend checking out. If you’d rather not share that’s cool.
Josh Toy lake Margaret isn’t far from woodenville and it’s a Great Lake!
I'll have to give those a try again, I've never had luck with those !
I use a free sliding jigged worm through a tiny top-water lure, that acts as an attractant itself. It helps the bottom worm with a straight up and down motion and appropriately twitches the lure also. I've had some excellent artificial worm fishing with it.
It's an intersting technique , man , do u use a bobber stopper above that top-water lure ?
I do the same setup with the Berkey honey worms , stock trout love them
Used these my whole life up in the Smokies. Great baits. Great video.
Marlin, sure likes his worms 😏🐛
Used these a couple weekends ago. Drifted under a float and rigged it exactly like that only wacky. It worked real good. Thanks for the vids guys. Always enjoy. And set aside an XL hoodie for me will ya?!

Try using power bait atomic tubes under a bobber, they work so well!
I picked some up the other day. Using them Wednesday! Thanks for the tips.
I’ve been using this method each time and hands down it works every time.
Same weight, no bobber works as well. I also have used a swivel for the weight and just let if fall to the zone and slowly twitch it back.
I’ve started making custom powerbait mice tails with these and have started catching big trout. Great video
Oh yea I have a bunch of those bobbers - I get them when people don't check their line and they break off....I use the tough bubble that you had a video for a while back - had a blast for trout in 2020
Just bought some last week. I’ll have to give them a try this weekend.
Yay another evening video to watch 🙌😊
I love these trout worms with a water bobber set up, I love reeling them in nice and slow then set the hook after a couple nibbles.
I've also used these fake worms on my kastmasters on those tough days
@@felixpalmer407 how?
What up?! Today i caught my 1st Longnose Gar on shrimp! Tricky buggers, mouth so hard hook doesn't set so u have to keep tension until near shore, then flip them out quick.

Used to use the chartreuse color behind a salmon egg in the eastern sierra streams. Worked really well.
How about a panther Martin verses roostertail
Bud Stinson I believe Jordan did a vid for that already, check it out
Ya Jordan already did that.
You guys should a do a tips video how to catch stocked trout when it’s hot in the summer times
I use them all the time when I want to catch good eating sized bluegill. Haven't used them for trout since I was a kid though.
Everett Lures sells an Earthworm color that is MONEY!
Can't wait to get me some of that sick summer gear
You need to try blackbirds sabertooth hooks I know that you are in with mustad and they are good strong hooks but the blackbirds are so much sharper and just as quality but more expensive and harder to find but I find I miss fewer fish
Over the past 2 weeks alone ive caught 25+ trout on 76 cent Walmart pink worm
i like red gulp worms under a float for stocked trout size 8 raven wide gaps get me better hook sets ...but i also love throwing vibrax spinners 2 or 3's for stocked trout aswell
good episode guys gotta have lil things to keep us busy while we are not catching steelies!!
Best leader-braid knot I've used is the FG knot. Give it a try!
I also like to rig them wacky style or drop shot.
Nice videos my man.
I’d like to know what your using for wadding. Your waterproof gear. Etc.
I use pretty much the same setup for river fishing in slower currents, very effective, even for big Steelhead. Caught a 14lber last winter on the pink one, big Buck in full out spawn colors and kiped jaw, looked like a salmon.
I want to thank you for this video, Just today I setup my hook with a pink worm exacly same way u showed in this video and cought 1 big salmon.
Creek salmon that is.
you should do a burley leach for trout fishing
I live in pa and wacky rigging the trout worm works well
Excellent video Marlin. Gotta try those worms!!
Gunna have to try that out at my local pond
Nice tips! Plus I cut alittle off the fat end. Seems to I crease my hookups.
when i fish them i allways reel up the slack in my line for a quick hook set
Thank you for the excellent advice!
Great tutorial, thank you. Just wonder if you do the same thing on a river, using a split shot and bubble like that.
I like those worms, with a peice or two of corn on bare hook part. Deadly!!
I use these , cut in half for blue gill and other panfish when take my lil bros fishing,
Great video keep them coming
I love following creek's in tell they meet a pond
Great Lakes we use them on steel.
Thanks Marlin !
I saw you guys driving up there wanted to say hi but I had to go shopping😕
thank you for your vidios guys youer very helpful
Awesome video ! Was wondering, so I saw a video where you guys used a real nightcrawler with a marshmallow tipped hook. Was wondering if it would worke the same with the powerworms ? I love your channel.

Do a little twitching while slowly retrieve the worm.
One with me in it! I can't seem to catch anything this year so far.
I've been using the pink worms for a while. They killed it last summer. Just about every trout I caught was on a Berkley worm
My tell
1 beer limit trolling with either a spinner fly or a Zak tackle double hook worm.
I like to wacky rig then with a size 12 hook and a tiny split shot and a trout magnet float
Try rocket bobbers instead of the weighted foam floats
I love fishing these worms its my go to bait to find out if there fish I also use them in saltwater to catch bait bright red is the color
EXELENTE AMIGO SALUDOS DESDE CUENCA ECUADOR
Just caught 20 at a lake in AZ with bubble gum and white mice tails. The orange and yellow mice tails caught zero. Im going to keep a few of these packs in my tackle box from now on!
20lb braid on a UL with a 3000 reel?
Least I could do is hit the 👍
What’s the point of the split shot, if the warm/hook combo sinks anyway?
Thanks for the videos, you guys are great!
You can buy Sunline ' Fine float ' line. Works great. Easy to keep a tight line. Much better than this heavy braid. I've used 10 lb.
You need to watch videos on how to set the hook on trout. :)
Yes, this is what I'm talking about
Those little guys were smart..:-)
Maybe the small bites were gills and sunfish
I use those to catch stealhead in minnesota tributaries
Cool, very helpful.👍
Nice video. Subscribed.
this would be good for Perch as well
imma try some tonight or tomorrrow. i have a cool trick i did today and got some hella bites on brown trouts.:) @addictedfishing
For that fisherman's knot, do you just put it through the loop or through the eye?
Put it back through the loop in the line, not the eye of the hook
What brand floats are those? I can’t seem find anything like them. Seem like a good style to try.
I think you are setting the hook to hard on these stock trout.
Can you use a swivel with a lead weight on one end and use your leader line with the hook with the worm ?
I hook it like a wacky worm and ad a little power bait to it, that's the best luck I had with those caught plenty of fish that way
When are you going to have the mustad floats back in stock?
Would the addicted balsa float work for this setup?
Random etiquette fact. Don't combat plunk fish with braided line. It heats up and burns everyone's mono and if you tangle they'll cut your line faster than you've ever hit the like button.😁🐟
Maybe a combat fishing etiquette video, casting, equipment, no politics, etc. ? Thanks mates!!
I have a question do you need a bobber or can you just have the weight and the hook + worm
When the trout miss so many time the hook, I will use a shorter lure or chop off a portion of that worm. That will bring your hook closer to the end of the lure.
Hi,what is the best bait to catch trout here in saskatchewan lake diefenbaker?thanks
Sick!!
First like
Thanks for the great content
Does this work with bass????
Could you use a swivel instead of just tying a leader on ?
i need some addicted gear
Do you have a link for the weighted float? And how many gram is the float
I usually use bobber and worm on that lake.
