Some of us aren't trying to "rob" the dealership. We just want a fair deal. It's sad that buying a vehicle is more circus than transaction.
most people buying a truck are not looking at new ones -- they can't afford the ridiculous prices
Speak for yourself….not most people
I buy a new car about once every 15 - 20 years. I get ripped off every time. And that's why I only buy a car once every 15 - 20 years.
Same here.....
Life of a vehicle before major work is 20 years. My truck has 310k miles and is 20 yrs old.
These newer ones with turbochargers are not going to go 300k. Even the new Toyota trucks you be lucky to get 150k.
@@HiPlains1BS. Big rigs have turbos and they go a million miles
@woodrmp1 diesels are a lot different than petrol motors.
That is so true, Jason. What really resonated with me was to be kind. The salesperson and the sales manager are people, and I have found that being kind, respectful, and firm during the negotiations is the best approach. Of course, you must do your research before you ever meet them to be armed with knowledge.
The worst car-buying experience I ever had was when the sales manager decided to be confrontational about the deal, and my competitive juices got flowing. It turned into a pissing contest. I got the deal I wanted, but I had to ride the deal the whole way. He kept trying to change up the deal, and when we finally made it to the F&I office, it was changed again. Ended up with the F&I and the GM on the phone to work it out. In hindsight, I should have walked out right when the Sales Manager started the way he did. I could have gone to another dealership and gotten that vehicle for the same price without the headaches or frustration. I can tell you that I have not been back to that dealership, and the guy probably doesn't even work there anymore. It left that bad of a taste.
100 percent agree. Crush them with kindness as my grandpa used to say. And experience is nothing more than a bunch of bad situations you survive through. So it says I wish I would have done better or I should have done this type scenarios that make us better and make us who we are. I have been there too where I let a sales guy or an F&I guy work me up and get me going. It's easy to get into that competition. It's easy to start getting mad. That's when I just walk out of the room for a minute and take a break, gather my wits and regain control of the deal
I agree as long as it is reciprocal. When they start lying, trying to add in extra crap in the finance office and going back on the deal we negotiated, then I leave. I don't want to be rude but if I'm treating them with respect, I expect the same in return.
@JeffandLeslie very true
The way things are right now , nobody is winning . The quality control is terrible , the prices are way too high, interest rates are pretty much unacceptable . The used car inventory is over loaded… I would love to have a dependable , naturally aspirated GMC 1500. They don’t seem to exist anymore , lol.
Well said
Well they make the 5.3 naturally aspirated V8 but like you say it's not dependable they still can't fix the lifter issues.
True, my local small town Chevy and Dodge dealership is so backed up with engine failure issues they are now sending trucks out to independent shops for engine swap outs on the down low. But y'all ain't supposed to know that.
@ Wow , how sad ! Not surprising , but still sad .
Just subbed. You do teach me some things here and there. Turning my wife into watching you. She's going Thursday to buy an Equinox. I just bought a Colorado TrailBoss. We are the middle type of people you speak of. We know the deal we need. And understand everyone has to make a living and both parties are happy. And you are spot on if it don't work today it will eventually. Done it many time's typically with the original dealer. Keep up the great content Brother.
Perfect and agree 100%. Congratulations to you both on your new truck and her upcoming equinox
I'm the 4th type....A car buyer that knows what it's worth and sticks to the payment he wants...A educated payment buyer...Don't worry walking out is part of the buying process lol
From a former salesman. Find the vehicle you want at several dealers and make what you believe is a fair offer to them and what you want to pay. Tell them you want to purchase in the next few days. If they meet your price great, if not tell them the same vehicle is at your next stop and walk out. They will either stop you or contact you a day later with a better offer or that next dealer met your price. Have some patience, they want to sell. That's how I buy all my vehicles. BTW, I pay cash and have the checkbook in hand when I make my offer.
@Dale-i1l they hate cash. They have zero bennifits accepting cash. All the money is made on financing and add ons.
@@mrmichaeltscott Not true at all. Here are TWO reasons just for starters, each car on the lot is covered by insurance, they sell it no more insurance cost. The more volume sold the better fleet pricing the dealer gets from the manufacture. It's not about their benefit it's about mine. I just told them I'm spending $45,00.00 on a car TODAY, my sales manager would have fired me on the spot if I let a sale walk out the door to another dealer. Time to change your outdated thinking about cash buying.
@@Dale-i1l They do hate cash. Buying a new car a few years ago, I said I'd pay cash. The GM came in and gave me a list of reasons why it would be better to not do cash 😂
Then begged to do financing, wait for their kick back to come in and then pay the loan off.
@ Why do you care about the dealers kick back? You need to focus on YOUR lowest out the door price. You screwed yourself and put them in control of the deal, not smart on your part. At the point they came back and tried to control the deal you should have got up and walked, they would have caved or you just head to the next dealership and start again. It takes time and patience to save thousands under the MSRP.
Hey Dale I’m trying to buy a new 2025 Silverado 2500, found one hour and a half away for $62k down from $68k msrp, I went to my local Chevy and showed them the truck and price. They said they can try to trade it from the other dealer and sell it to me at that price. Is that true? Basically if it’s going to complicate things or if they try to screw me over then I rather just make the 90 minute drive.
Bought a rebuilt titled Honda with 60k miles and zero issues now at 120k. Save a ton of money
Perfect
I really hope you take and make a video on all the little things we can do when we walk into a dealership to get a good deal that video will definitely get a ton of likes
I make videos pretty often with tips on buying. One of these days I will get around to putting them in a playlist so they are easier to find
@ yes sir please do. People like me that are in the market to purchase a new or used vehicle. Will definitely like to have somebody break it down for us like you. Definitely love the videos keep them coming.
Jason - In previous videos, you mentioned trying to give your local dealership a shot at your business, but they're never able to get to your price point. The discount a dealership is able to offer depends on several factors. Factors that are not worth going into or trying to disect. For this reason, heavy negotiating is usually a waste of time. Just ask them once if they can hit your number and move on if they cannot. Getting the best deals means finding the right dealer at the right time, that is willing and able to offer a big discount. You're not going to convince a dealer to discount a truck 25% if he doesn't have to. Your job is to find the one who has to.
This is 100% correct you are 100% correct. And I do the same, I'm chasing a dealership willing to move the product. It's been 20 years since I sat in a dealership trying to haggle for another $500 off. I don't play that game. I come in with the number I want and find a dealership that meets it
I sold at a Ford dealer! We Didn't care about negotiating! He is correct we are professional sales people! We would train every day on negotiating! Buying cars at a dealership has 4 levels ! Sales! Used car management! New car management then finance management! These are all very intelligent people!
@@LaLaLucky7777 thanks for the insider information. Appreciated
I don't mind a dealership making a profit. I don't work for free and I don't expect them to do it either. I just don't want them making all the profit from me. Never fool yourself into thinking the dealership loses money selling you a vehicle, if they were losing money they would not sell it at that price. I just negotiate the best deal I can and move on with my life. I'm probably tier 2. I absolutely hate negotiating and playing the game. I would welcome a fixed price on the vehicle (no haggle pricing). I know folks who love the game. To me it is ALMOST as much fun as a colonoscopy.
The best deal anyone can make is to yourself. Pay off the truck you already have and run it!!
Phenomenal video Jason! ... Because of the classes of buyers you mentioned, it all evens out for the Dealership in the end anyways.....as you said 'win win'
Yep everyone at a dealership is trained well and knows the game
It's like las Vegas, the house always wins.
@@rickreid81 100% spot on
Some dealers act like they only have a few units to sell and need to make bank on each one. Other dealers act like they can get all the units they want and will sell at any profit point.
Its very difficult to tell what kind of dealership you are dealing with.
True
While looking for a new truck in November and December 2024 I talked to a lot of salespeople. All of them were offering end of year deals, some were good and some were not. One place was 3,000.00 over MSRP and only taking 1,000.00 off. The best deal I got offered was on a 2024 new f350 King Ranch that started with 7,000.00 off but was really not quite what I was looking for. The sales manager offered it to me for 10,000.00 off if I would take it but as I explained to him if it was the truck I was looking for I would buy it at that price but it was just not what I was looking for and at the price of trucks these days I was not willing to spend that kind of money and settle for something else. This is as n example of price differences and dealer difference. In the end I found the truck I wanted in Colorado, I live in Washington State, but could not close the deal before someone walked in off the street and bought it. I'll be looking again this year after tax season.
Amd you showed a valuable tactic...waiting until you find what you want! Well done
I had a honda dealership in california basically ghost me because i was price shopping their OTD price. The salesman accidently texted me a text he sent his boss complaining about me inquiring on the OTD
It’s dealers first rodeo where the average American is completely tapped out after an inflationary business cycle. The only people left to negotiate a sale are people that can say no and walk out no problem.
I’ve got my strategy. I’ll look for the most back stock on a lot and tell them to call me when they are ready to dump. Thank you!
Perfect
People want a reliable truck and I didn’t see any in this video.
They love to say” You’re killing me, I am already loosing too much money”. They cannot loose. All I can do is make sure they give me all the possible discount and that take a few days going back and forth and hopefully you get a salesperson that needs to sell something and maybe push for you a little bit.
Agree 100%
dealers/salesmen never hated to negotiate on price even when its advertised below MSRP. They look at it as a game they will win, and they brag with their fellow salesmen on how much they got over what they paid/will with manufacturer's paying back for the vehicle.
I agree with every word of this one. What else helps is if you're flexible. Because like that example with the 5 identical white work trucks, if you found a dealer that's got too many of something and they just want to get it out of there, some dealers will even tell you that if you ask them. You can ask if they have any aged inventory, maybe something that's been on the lot for 3 or more months, for whatever reason they don't have a buyer for it, they should be willing to do a better deal on an identical truck in a different market that hasn't had it sitting as long. I have had at least one dealership show me the door when I've asked that question but there's been many more where the salesman have said, I can get you a better deal on this truck or this trim. Usually the grandaddy trims with all the chrome and all the bells and whistles they sit and they sit.
100 percent spot on and Austin sales guys won't bring that up because they assume you're looking for a specific vehicle. Once you let him know you're open to possibilities they might bring that stuff to the table
@@Jason-Samko The other thing I should have mentioned is that I'm in sales. Not cars but I had to learn early on not to take it personally when someone wants a killer deal and starts showing me bids from competitors. The last thing in the world a salesman should do is say "can't do it" and blow off the customer. What I do is I find something that's in their budget and I convince them it's a better value. Sometimes I even surprise myself. Part of car buying these days is actually finding a motivated sales person or sales manager that you can build a rapport with to find out what's been sitting and what they want to deal on. And then follow through so they actually do it.
@TheKingOfInappropriateComments another excellent point and rock solid info
They still aren’t budging an inch on price. My father went in. And after 2 hours of nut budging he said screw you I’ll keep my old truck and spend the money on a cruise instead
Favorite truck reviewer right now!
Thank you greatly appreciated
There is another type of buyer. The guy that could walk onto that lot and write a check for 4 of those trucks. Me, but I pledge with all my being to never buy another new truck from a dealer. Not going to happen folks. Not after what they have done to the people in the last 10 years. Not for these over priced, over engineered trucks that they can't keep running. You can't even get a basic oil change with out fighting over them trying to sell you a cabin air firt for 4 times the price at the auto parts store. They can pound sand.
If you are buying at a dealership you have never delt with it can be hard to negotiate, but i have had good negotiating experience at dealerships i have purchased in past, i call it repeat a finders they no you and they will work with you to get best deal possible.
I also found that if you purchased a vehicle at the end of the month at the last minute they are willing to make big deals to get the month closed out
Very true
The best time to buy is when you don't need a new one. I was having rotation and balance on 1500 ram. I walked around looking at new trucks. Sales lady came out,and we started chatting. I was interested in 2500 diesel. sticker was $80,000. I offered $60,000. They have called me three times, with different numbers. ( as if i was going to take the bait) My offer drops $500 every time they call.
I’d concur, at 4:30. If both parties are happy with the sale, good day. BUT ALSO if both parties walk away unhappy, then good day
True
Great information. You know your stuff.
Thank you
I always make an offer t several dealerships via email. I wait for a response. Some don't respond, some say, "come on down & see us", & hopefully someone accepts my offer. Always start the process when you aren't desperate to get a vehicle. Could take months.
I got a good deal on a vehicle because the dealer is posted on their site $6500 below MSRP. I didnt want to haggle, they even picked me up from the airport.
Perfect
I wanted a new truck, but I think I'm buying something used that's 5-10 years old. A 2015 Tacoma or Colorado or Ranger with some mileage and a budget to get it running like a top makes way more sense these days. Damn shame.
About 40, years I went into a Toyota Dealer . I was 25 and they thought I was young and stupid , they learned . They don’t know everything or everybody ….your wrong ! So don’t even go there son. Look they used five salesmen on me started with rookie , then one by the age went up as another salesman come out of his cubical . One by one I destroyed their egos and manhoods . One by one they walked out and gave up. Finally after the sales manager took a shot at me his self . Behind one way mirror the owner of the dealership was watching , I suspected as much . The sales manager had a check filled out to the dealership for the car I wanted , it sat there . I stood up , and out from behind the wall came the owner. He had a huge smile on his face , the rest of the sales manager staff looked sick. He stuck out his hand and said son , you have beaten them all . I will be proud to take your check for the car. He asked me did I need a job . …..this was during the recession I the 80’s jobs were scarce , people with college degrees in science , medicine and engineering were waiting tables . He offered me a job . He would start me as second to his sales manager about all the others that failed to make a sale. People are scared or chicken to look others in the face . Whelp , I’m not , because I don’t back down . They had about 10 seconds before I picked up the check and walked out. Wouldn’t have bothered me , my wife wanted the color car they had , but I could have went to the next dealer and one after and next till somebody gave in. You got to let them know who has the upper hand.
And EVERYBODY CHEERED. Why u lie, bro?
I bought a used Chevy 1500 last August . No trade in . I went to my bank and got a loan approval. Small dealership! I probably buy new for the rest of my life .
Perfect. I do the same and always will as well
I need to really work on my bad attitude towards sales representatives. I get so angry when they start playing games. I also hate how dealers treated people during covid!
Agreed it's pretty easy to go from lawyer to hammer instantly. The lawyer is controlled smooth and uses the facts and controls the deal the hammer just gets mad and hit stuff. And there is nothing I hate more than mean rude people so when I encounter a dealer sales guy like that it's pretty easy to go to hammer mode. But the lawyer attitude is definitely the best way to handle everything
@@Jason-Samko Great advice. I used to get wound up fast. Now I take a deep breath, gather my thoughts and continue. Your lawyer anology is perfect. If the salesman is an asshole, I'll find a decent one that deserves my business.
When talking to the finance guy, he ask me if I extended warranty.
; I replied no. Before we wrapped up, he says are you sure you don't want the extended warranty it would make my boss happy. I just laughed and signed the papers.
I like them when they have a sense of humor like thet
Jason what are your thoughts on some of these trucks with "less desirable" engines in regards to how you operate. I.E. get a great deal now so when you trade it in on the next one your better off. For example, I am thinking of the Ram V6 or the Silverado 2.7. With all the churn in emissions rollback and V8s possibly coming back do you think the value will tank so bad that in 4-5 years when you trade it in you will loose out?
Excellent question we have no way to predict what truck sales will do in the future it is so volatile we can't even predict what they're going to do tomorrow. So my advice is whatever you buy today get the absolute best price you can. That way you're buying your resale value up front in the form of money off MSRP
Well I just walked out of a dealership just bcoz the tone and attitude became rude as soon as they heard our negotiating cost.
So dealership also try to loot you and hate a more educated and financially sound customer.
Recently Sales person on these dealership have no clue what are they selling can’t even explain any features on the truck all they can say is it has tow package and say the advertise tow number which is far off from the particular product you are selling.
Also no one asked then to add all dealer options which they try to shove it to you and then show them as rebates or discounts…
Sometimes I get a feeling that model like Tesla Direct to customer on what you pick in the configuration would be more appreciated then dealing with these dealership
@Alwaysthinkbeforeyouspeak many feel that way. I personally hope we never go the "direct to consumer route". I never want to pay what everyone else does. It's worth it to me to negotiate
So true. Some dealers for example are taking 13% or more off msrp on left over '24 Canyons. And some still want full msro on 2024"s that were built in late 2023. Makes no sense but yes, every dealer is different and some will take huge losses.

Usually dealers will get vehicles from other dealers. But if it makes you nervous do the deal with the original out of town one
@ so if the other dealer is completely different “dealer network” example one is Johnson Chevy GMC and the other is Smith Chevy GMC, they can trade vehicles from each other to get what a local customer wants? I just want simple, what would you do?
@CP-ok1gv yes they can and often do. If it was me I'd ask my local dealer to write up a buyer agreement showing all the numbers and then I'd let them get it in. If they refuse to do a buyers agreement doc I'd buy from the out of town one.
@@Jason-Samko thanks I will call and request that
😅 I wish I had the time back for all the dealer "invoices" we faked up. Sold cars for many years and I still hate the lies buying them. Guy told me I HAD to buy the warranty on the 1997 Eldorado because the computers would fail. None have failed yet. 😂😂😂 my 95 SLS went into the Marines fully functioning in 2007.
I always gig inside when a sales guy brings me that piece of paper showing this is "what we pay for it"...lol
You make a lot of good points!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it
I’m looking for a new truck 2019 and older with very good prices for now
I found a pair of 2023 Ford F-150 XLT's. Almost the same price, slightly different equipment. Advertised discount is about $10,000 off a $59,500 MSRP. I got a total of $12,000 off my 2019 XLT. Do you think there is more that I can get in price reduction than the $10,000 advertised? What price reduction would you start the negotiations at?
@@ksorsomeplace in my opinion if they still got 2023 sitting on a lot that dealer doesn't want to move them and isn't really going to give you that kind of a deal. And will it be in 2023 and it's now 2025 I would expect better than that when you can get that kind of a discount off of a 2024 right now. It's a good deal but I think you can do better on 2024 is where you're not limited to one dealership with only a couple 2023
I wonder what percentage of the population are buying trucks now as compared to the seventies and earlier. Now that trucks are so comfortable and drive like big cars my guess is most modern truck buyers are not the same people that used to buy trucks.
... Trucks - are they buying because they do truck things ? or because it's an Ego thing ? when I needed a truck , an 8' bed was available and then we accepted a 6' bed but now a short bed is a "regular" truck , which is basically useless for real truck work ... not to mention the ridiculous prices ...
Missed the 4th type of person who needs to buy vehicle…
The one who refuses to play any dealership games and just buys used face to face.
Imagine the volume a stealership would go thru if they priced vehicles at the margin they need to make to support their cost model vs the predatory pricing they use to pad their pockets.
🤷♂️
Crazy. I live in Chicago. City shut down for 2 inches of snow. Wow
Yep and I mean shut down! Shcools restaurants, Walmart, stores etc all closed
Where can you find - or can you find - the actual price the dealers are paying for new vehicles?
@Mike___Kilo only way I know is to ask the dealer and usually those numbers are inflated
@@Jason-Samko Sounds like "Hollywood accounting." You know no movie every makes a profit.
People buying today feel like they're getting a good deal? That's insane to me. These prices are ridiculous.
Look, this is nothing but a game of poker. I flat out love haggling, but I get it, most people don’t. The key is don’t become emotionally involved. Don’t let them believe you have to have this vehicle. You do need to have an idea of what you think a good deal is so you can counter offer their initial proposal. Be willing to walk but don’t walk away in a huff. Leave the door open to reconsider. Tell them you’ll take their bid under advisement and you are waiting on bids from a couple other dealers and you should know something in the next couple business days. I’ve gotten insane deals dripping on salesman over a week. Like he said never be an ass to anyone. Be respectful and business like. I’ve gotten deals so good they wouldn’t even give me a key chain saying there wasn’t any money in the deal. Yeah right, look at this building, they are making millions. They are making money on every sale, just not making so much on some.
Agree with and love every sentence in this comment
You need to research ahead of time what a good deal is on what you're looking at. Always work on out the door price. Be willing to walk be willing to wait and be willing to travel. Also know the hints when they think they have the upper hand on you. I can generally tell when this happens and that's the time I go. I become a real a hole when buying. I don't enjoy the process but it is what it is. I did get ripped off once in 1985 on a Volkswagen GTI. I never let that happen again.
I think i have been priced out of the new truck market...Just like what has been stated here already...High initial price, low quality, unreliable drive trains, reduced warranties and extremely high repair costs once out of warranty...
I think you're doing a great job
Thank you
I am to old school. All the bells & whistles are ok but my focus is reliability. Always been a Chevy truck guy. The AFM & DFM just doesn't work for me. The prices don't work for m either. I'll just keep my 04 Silverado 5.3L. Simple engine. Let other people move their inventory.
Research the manufacturer rebates, ask to see the invoice and offer on profit above invoice.
If they won’t show the invoice ,go to another dealer.
If you're paying anywhere close to invoice it's not a good deal. F150 Invoice is only 3-4k under MSRP.
Moral of the story is the house always wins. Buy a little or alot its still a win. They wouldnt be in business if they didnt
Very true
No one buying a new truck at anywhere near the prices they are asking is getting a deal ! Ask them what the out the door price is and then say you will give them $10,000 less then that ! If they won’t come close walk away !!
Just be willing to walk away. I walked out 4 times, 3 times the came after me, 2 times we did deals, 1 time they wasted another 5 minutes of mine and then i left.
The only way you are going to offend a dealer negotiating is if you are disrespectful. If you go in acting like a tough guy, you're done. Treat the salesman, finance manager, and sales manager with respect, and they'll do the same with you.
@@traebishop3846 agree 100%
Who can afford a new truck these days? Even 10K off does NOT make that many trucks affordable. I’m happy driving my old truck. I am unwilling to mortgage a new full size pickup.
Never buy when you must have a new vehicle. Always be prepared to walk away .
Great points
Buy used, have a set amount ready to pay in cash. If they don't take it, walk away

If the people aren't used to that weather at all and there might be ice it's better to just shut it down. When all the Californians moved to my state suddenly people were doing 90mph in torrential downpours. Stupid always finds a way.
@Scroll_Lock 😂😂 simple and powerful statement
Why don't you be honest with what the dealer has up there sleeves? What people don't know is dealerships are making the consumer pay for the 25% tariffs that the dealership should be paying. Thats why car/truck/suv prices are crazy. So your reason on the 2nd guy that thinks he knows something. Im the number 4 guy!! I know my shit!! I bought a 23 Nissan Titan Pro-4x for $34k out the door and with a 7 year or 100,000 mile warranty!!
There's a reason why the term "used car salesman" is derogatory.
I do not like used car salesman. New sales guys i like many of them. Used are very shady in my experience.
I go against the grain..... I research the truck...research the prices...Decide what I want to pay/terms and I tell them the payment I want LOL because I know they will have to play with the price..interest rates to get me into that truck for that payment... trust me I make it hard, the truck I'm in now they had to take the interest down to 2.89% to make it work..
I don't give a Sh!tT what the salesman says because I never enter a car lot intending to buy a car. They are crooks. I can't believe that people line up and put up with this abuse.
I’d never buy a v8 with lifter failures 😂
Hey Jason, You forgot the 4th type of buyer that the dealer loves the most. It’s the shopping the payment buyer, never buy a vehicle based solely on the payment, never. They always ask you what payment would you be comfortable with now they GOT you, if you say $400 a month they will come back with a payment of $399.99. Always shop the out the door price.
100% spot on
Funny but I was trying to figure out what was the lowest form of life on earth car salesman or politician.
Politician! I've met many great car salesman
Insurance,big pharma,Donald trump
Politicians
@@Jason-Samkoyou think you have met many great car salesmen.
@BlastedKat yep. The sales guy is just a greeter and the one that hands me the keys. They are some great people. I don't make deals with sales guys. When I call they can't help me and send me right to the sales manager.
The Auto industry is going to get worse. No body is going to afford a new vehicle , with the 25 % tariffs
I refuse to play their games; therefore I will not buy.
At least remove the snow off of the units
My opinion is 85% of pickup owners don’t NEED a pickup at all, so they’d “like” a new pickup…… but anything over $50k is ridiculous. So keep what you got, and let someone else take on the $1000 a month payments.
1800 a month with insurance stupid
OMG they hate me I just know they do LMAO... I Know What I Want and They Ain't got it... I wanted a manual transmission equipped on one of them new Toyota 4runners. I even asked how much it would cost to get built to my spec... Never seen such glazed over eyes lmao
@@efil4kizum 😂 especially from toyota who doesn't do custom orders
Lol u ramble a lot
I bought a 2024 Tundra, specifically because the Tundra Recall Notice for crankshaft bearings specified only the 2022 and 2023.
The Toyota Dealer explicitly stated to me that the crankshaft bearing problem was fixed for 2024. He was under-informed or lying.
As a long time Toyota owner, I believed that Toyota would not still be selling an engine two years after a significant problem was identified. Subsequent to my purchase I learned that the 2024s are blowing up, just like the 2023/2022s, and now there are reports of 2025's blowing up, and reports of the replaced engines blowing up!
I unloaded the 2024 Tundra at a significant loss - FIVE days after buying it. I don't like roulette. I feel that both the Toyota Dealer and the Toyota Corporation betrayed me.
Instead of focusing on reliability in engineering and manufacturing, Toyota has focused on complicated, expensive and increasingly absurd trim items. Complexity is the enemy of reliability.
I am done with Toyota.
@HarrisonBergeronIsHere can 100% understand that. The recall wasn't the problem for most. The big problem is toyota being non transparent, and playing games. Very upsetting.
An absolutely great video and knowledgeable explanations. I value all your video’s. And all the work you put in to them, to helps better understand negotiation’s. Thank you again, Jason. 👍🏻🛻👏
Thank you. Greatly appreciated
