So 350z autox guy here, so I don’t need angle at all but what I’m looking at for the product is the faster steering. If I bought this. How much left or right do I adjust the Ackerman?
Quick question i don’t have the bolt that connects the knuckle and the angle kit (side bolt ) by any chance anyone know the thread paper only say 17mm hex not sure if that thread or the socket size
The steering feels terrible after installing this kit. It overcentres and also instead of the steering returning to the central position sometimes it basically turns into more angle. Any help?
Did you get it sorted? I’ve just installed the lock kit and rack spacers, feels horrible. Car drives straight and true with no hands on the wheel but it’s twitchy as hell on fast ish corners 🤔
@@cedricmallette mine self steers. Not as well as an e36 with modded hubs, you have to give it a very small bit of encouragement. But I believe my overall alignment is off making the car twitchy. Once you’re in the corner and suspension is loaded it’s fine, it’s the initial tip in
I just installed this kit and when I turn to lock my brakes go squishy but when the car is straight I have full pressure and none of the line appear to be pinched. Has this happened to anyone else.
@@AntonioHernandez-kx6wj my coil was hitting the banjo bolt on the brake caliper so I just cut down my oem bump stops the only other way to fix it is buying the lower control arms. You might also want to check if the brake like is getting to stretched I’ve heard that too. If it is ISR makes longer ones but I’d start with seeing if it hits the banjo bolt
Any idea what the thread pitch is for the steering bump stop holes? Id removed the bump stops years ago and don’t have the two bolts I need to finish installing this kit. Cannot find any info online or bolts around my shop that fit
Hey gk I gotta say I love ur products, and videos but it would would be cool if I guys featured the whole angle kit mod for the z, like the lca, uca, and then ur steering kit. I know u've done videos on them but I'd would be pretty cool just to see the before and after with it all on. There not to many videos out there on that
Alright guys I hope someone sees this! So I believe my Ackerman is all flipped flopped and I need advice! So my lead wheel is got less angle compared to my following wheel! Is this a low Ackerman issue or a high Ackerman man issues ??
If the lead wheel has less angle than the trail wheel, it's considered a negative/anti ackerman level. High ackerman = lead wheel has more angle, zero ackerman = both wheels have the same. On the steering kit the only way to achieve negative values is by relocating the rack which isn't necessary.

Not hating but I saw the bolt strip out on the hub…… I know because I’ve done the same thing haha. But love the new design

@@cadenboonstra540 when he was torquing the nut on the spindle to spec it stripped out! That torque spec is too high it needs to be 45-50ft lbs

It is virtually the same install, there is a guide included with the item that can also be used.
Recommended supporting mods and should I go conservative on width up front
I will always encourage the use of our 1pc lower control arms.
