Your attention to detail is a 10 + awesome video of one of my favorite cars. Extremely well executed video and one of people who are extremely knowledgeable about these automobiles. I have owned a 1955 custom line and a 1955 Town sedan. The customline was a six cylinder with a 3 speed manual transmission shift mounted on the steering column. The Town sedan had the 312 V8 which replaced the 272 V8 and the Fordamatic automatic transmission. I wish I had been able to keep both of them.
1950’s cars are really nice…. There is enough old about them that makes it like nothing else on the highway, but just modern enough that you can drive them in today’s traffic. This is excellent. I got to update a 1950 Cadillac Series 62 for a friend of mine, a very fun project that was as well. Had to add power steering, update braking systems, replace a ton of stuff, cooling system upgrade, etc. Had a ton of fun.
I think you have great taste when it comes to your resto mods. You tend to upgrade all of the right stuff while keeping certain important components original (or close to it). Nicely done 👍
You have done some very worthwhile sympathetic improvements to that lovely car , definitely making it more fit for modern day traffic . Personally I would consider a more modern overdrive transmission to replace the old Fordomatic - more for relaxed highway cruising than economy. I'm sure your car would likely have already had the popular upgrades done to assist the problematic oil supply to the rocker arms that originally troubled these otherwise excellent Y Block motors ?
🤨 , oh i remember in the 80's one friend's father drove a Ford Crown Victoria estate (Kombi) -huge ...later much more later same size like Shmee150 his E-Class Kombi on our market ;yes it is for need but van's are most of the year van's empty and look not so well like estate/kombi cars does ford plan a comback like GT40?
Because when he upgrades to an electronic ignition system anyway, the benefits in flexibility and reliability to also upgrade the entire fuel system are considerable. And it's not *that* invasive, there are no non-reversible modifications done. A guy like Kyle isn't going to throw away the carb. Whether he rebuilds it before he packs it away or not, it's always possible to go back for him or the next owner.
Because this car wasn't original to begin with, all of the original equipment was ditched long ago by the previous owner. Reverting it back to original is pointless, you're just shooting yourself in the foot. I like original as much as the next person, but it doesn't always make the most sense.
You should know that not every engine has a MPFI "kit", plus, that's so far from the truth it's not even funny. Rochester had an electronic quadrajet carburetor in the 1980s that incorporated a few sensors but still used a mechanical fuel pump. The correct term for this type of setup is throttle body fuel injection. The technology has been around since the 1980s if I remember correctly, but this system is easy enough to install that pretty much anyone can do it. It gives you fuel injection without much complexity, plus the self learning feature is pretty awesome if you ask me.

Brother is that your shop that is my dream there I’m 68 years old I hope I’m going to build me one great job on the car
That’s a nice looking car
Good luck on crown Victoria classic car 👍
I don’t know if you’re into car shows but you can bring this car down to Gulfport,ms for “cruising the coast” if you don’t mind.
Wish they put the time and effort to make cars like they use to with real metal
Those people are gone now we are stuck with a whole new Lunatics.
My dream car
Just out of curiosity when about will more progress be made on the '69 chevelle, because I have loved following the build of that car.
It won’t be too much longer, just getting some of these little things out of the way!
Hi kyle
Can we get a car collection/tour video? I lose track on what you have and what's gone.
Awesome!!!!
Very cool.
Was that line in the corner of the tank the return line?
Do you have a video where you make a tour inside the hotdog car?
Nice
Good
Love the 50's V8s. Distinct rumble.

Klasyka samochód ( classic car)
Nice 🥰
Is this car being sold through Gateway cars?
Why not just rebuild the carb and fuel pump. I like to see things stay original and a well tuned carb is just as good as any fuel injection

The multi point injection kit is way better this thing is just an electronic carburetor🤣

Nice work, but that "music" absolutely sucks.
