Fidget Spinner vs Compressed Air

I heard of people making their spinner catch on fire using compressed air to spin it so fast the bearings overheat. Time to test.

You have to blow the air near to the centre and lub the ball bearing with oil, than it turns that fast it will explode

i set up a little jig in my dads garage and left the compressor spinning a fidget spinner at full speed for about 15 mins and the only think that happend was the water filter thingy on the compressor filled up before the fidget spinner overheated or exploded. however we were suffering from a damp problem in the garage because of rain water coming in from a very low gown vent.

Oh momma, it literally disappeared :o) And I wasn't filming it :o( We found one flashing bit, which I stuck to my ear-defenders so that I look like borg. The other bits have gone! I re-used the bearing and CNC stamped a new one in 6mm aluminium, so Michael's niece would have something uber cool. I gave it five lobes. It didn't blow up :D

You can’t have grease in the bearings… it makes it have resistance of freely moving
