Hey thanks for posting. As someone in their thirties who has PSA and MH struggles, it’s always helpful getting different perspectives. Have adopted a similar view in recent years. People with MH issues tend to chase that utopia of happiness (particularly when young). Learning to scale things back and keep things simple/achievable is great way of finding some contentment, andfrom there you might get some occasional and genuine happiness as well. Glad the meds are working for you. I’ve found it’s helped the joints but less so the psoriasis after 4 months.
Thank you for your posts. I started humira for psoriasis and psa recently. I've had 2 injections and was wondering how soon you felt pain relief. My pain is primarily in shoulders and feet/toes. Can't wait to be able to be more mobile 😢😢😢
I started feeling relief after a couple of weeks. If you watch some of my other vids I’ve done regular review videos at 2 week and then monthly intervals where I go into more detail. Hang in and stay positive and I’m sure you’ll get some resolve. I wish you wrll
Hi Oscar, life is full of ups and downs, highs and lows. That's perfectly normal. Being "happy" all of the time is unrealistic and I would say unhealthy. On the opposite side of the scale being depressed or sad nearly all of the time isn't healthy either. People that seek out happiness all the time do it through artificial means (drugs, etc.) and you know where that leads..... (no where good). Remember the happy times when trying to get through the lows. I realize all of this is easy to say when not depressed, but treatment for depression is basically allowing enough functionality to exist such that the individual can start to see some hope and with hope one feels better. The mind is a very complex machine that no one completely understands, but I do believe that a healthy dose of both is needed to train the machine to know that good times will eventually follow the bad times. It is optimism that keeps us going. Sometimes the chemical balance in the brain is altered to the extent that optimism doesn't exist, or can't be sustained. That leads to depression. Staying active and being part of a community is a requirement to keep both sides of the equation in check.... so to speak. It was great seeing another video and really good to see that your PSA is under control; stay well. Cheers mate!

I agree with everything you said. I hope you get some relief from the psoriasis along the meds but at least the joints are feeling better. Stay well

[hanks for sharing brother
My pleasure
Thanks for the video. Sometimes I wonder if people who look happy really feel that way or hide better.
Probably a bit of both
